Town: Set beneath hills and wild moorland at the edge of the Pennines, the area around Littleborough is dissected by tranquil waterways and lakes where you can explore some of the North West’s finest countryside. Sweeping hillsides and rolling hills are right on the doorstep with the village also offering coffee shops, restaurants and unique independent retailers. Littleborough Farmers' Market and Craft Fair is worth a visit and is held on the second Sunday of every month. Hollingworth Lake and Country Park is just outside the village and visitors can enjoy many outdoor attractions and an excellent visitor centre. Spanning 118 acres with the dramatic backdrop of Blackstone Edge, the lake is one of the most popular days out in the area.
