Family house Sitges town; 5 mins walk to beaches

We chose this house after a long search which included villas in the hills and flats in the main shopping centre. We love living here and, after studying the other options, we think it is the perfect location for families. It's in the town itself, not in an urbanisation, so you do not have to depend on a car. But it's just the right distance from the bars and restaurants so that you are not awake all night listening to Sitges nightlife.
It is a townhouse with 3 different outside spaces. Plus, the front garden leads to a very quiet pedestrianised street which is generally only used by neighbours or delivery people.
The neighbours are friendly professionals who live here all year round with their families. There is a large communal pool which is open all year with separate toddler pool (it is only heated by the sun so whether you use it all year round depends on your idea of hot & cold!!) and a communal tennis court. We often enjoy breakfast on the back patio, coffee in the front garden, and a barbecued lunch or dinner on the roof terrace. Or we walk the 5-10 minutes to the various beaches/restaurants of Sitges. Alternatively, the train station is 10 minutes walk, with trains every 15 minutes to Barcelona (45 mins) or the airport (40 mins). A small but important detail is that Carrefour Market (probably the best supermarket in Sitges) is literally 2 minutes walk from the front door - great if you have young children, or just don't like walking too far with shopping!!
We can leave stair gates, a high chair and cot in the house if required, and a bed guard to stop toddlers falling out can be placed on a bed if requested.
The house is designed to be cool in summer; you can leave the roof terrace door open at night to allow a cool breeze to circulate through the house. There is also cold air conditioning in the living room and on the upstairs landing (serving the bedrooms) although in this particular house it is rarely necessary to use it at night. There is also central heating for the cooler months. Please note: This house is generally suitable for a mix of adults and children, with usually no more than 6 adults as part of the group.
