For more than 165 years, generations of people have passed through these doors. Now, they`re open to you.
Believed to be one of Hampshire`s oldest surviving purpose-built police stations, it was once home to generations of police officers and their families, from Victorian sergeants to modern-day police staff.
Today, this remarkable Grade II listed building begins its next chapter, welcoming guests to experience a piece of living history.
Lovingly restored, The Old Police Station combines original heritage with contemporary comfort. Original Victorian cell doors, vaulted former police cells and period architectural details remain, while elegant interiors create a warm and luxurious retreat designed for modern family living.
Whether you`re gathering around the dining table after a day exploring the New Forest, enjoying a morning coffee in the sunshine, or sharing stories beneath the same roof that has witnessed generations of family life, this is more than somewhere to stay – it`s somewhere to experience.
Outside, the large south-facing garden invites long summer lunches, children`s games and relaxed evenings under the stars. The private games and fitness room, complete with pool table and gym equipment, offers another place to unwind whatever the weather.
Step beyond the gates and you`re just a short stroll from Fordingbridge`s independent cafés, traditional pubs, riverside walks and local shops. The New Forest National Park is only minutes away, offering ancient woodland, free-roaming ponies, cycling trails and some of southern England`s most beautiful landscapes.
Whether you`re planning a family holiday, celebrating with friends, discovering the New Forest or simply looking for somewhere unlike anywhere else, The Old Police Station offers an experience that cannot be recreated.
For over a century and a half this building has welcomed those who lived and worked within its walls.
Now, its doors are open for you.
