Perfect for our family getaway!

We stayed with our 3 young kids and brother-in-law and had plenty of space to enjoy easy access to the beach, shopping and neighborhood strolls! Love the ample porches. Thank you!

Good location, nice accomadations

The property was located just a few mins walk from downtown. It was nice, clean, well stocked and perfect for a larger group of people. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone looking to go to SoHa

Beautiful house, great location

Overall wonderful experience. Property was beautiful, spacious house, incredibly clean. And the location was great - a short bike ride to downtown and the beach. Would love to vacation there again!!

Footprints in the Sand House

We enjoyed our stay at the Footprints in the Sand house. It was clean and comfortable and the location is great. The owners were very responsive to any questions that we had and took pride in making sure that we had a good vacation and a good stay at their house.

Wonderful vacation home

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! It was very clean and spacious for our two families with teenagers. Everything we needed. The location was amazing! Just a short walk (10 mins) to downtown South Haven for all the shops and restraunts, and of course the beaches. The neighborhood was perfect. Very peaceful and quaint. We are already planning on coming back and renting this property again.

Very clean and quiet neighborhood

The house and property were both very clean and well taken care of. The space was very accommodating for our extended family of 10. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and we were close enough to walk to enjoy the farm market, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed all the space outside for our 4 kids to play, especially the paved driveway! It was a great place to stay and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something quiet and away from the hustle and bustle without being too far!

Great location and roomy space

This property had more than enough bedrooms and space for our two-family getaway. We enjoyed the location to the downtown and the beach. The neighbors were quiet and were tolerating of our loud children who were running outside. There were two things I wished were better: 1) the linens need to be washed or aired out better. I have a dust allergy and i immediately could tell it was dusty inside the house, and 2) there wasn’t cooking oil and we assumed there would be oil at least available. We bought oil and left for the next vacationer. :)

Wonderful stay

Very nice property, lots of space for everyone, comfortable and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the porch and deck, and not too far from town or beaches! Dykman beach was great!

Family vacation

Check-in was flawless. Kitchen facilities were sufficient. WiFi was better than my home. Walking distance to downtown and pier. Walking distance to beach, but easier to buy week pass and park right at beach. Owner was very communicative and helpful.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home with our family of 8! The house was spotless with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. My parents especially loved relaxing on the front porch every day and our kids loved playing on the back deck. I was able to lounge and soak in some well-needed vitamin D while they ran around. The common areas were perfect for gathering together. The location was convenient to getting downtown or to Meijer for grocery runs yet on a very peaceful street, making it a great home base for our trip. Property manager was very responsive and kind.We couldn’t have asked for a better place—highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway

Wonderful Stay Close to Town

We had an excellent stay at this property! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just a 5-minute walk to town and a 10-minute walk to the beach. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway.

Perfect location for a group!

We stayed with our family of 5 and friends with a family of 5 and location could not have been better! The property is set up well with seating and room for groups. Very thoughtful grouping of chairs and tables to promote conversations! Close to the beach, DT, restaurants, historic theatre ($4 tickets👍) and more! Property mgr was very easy to communicate with!

Family Gathering

We found this property online and it was exactly as described and met all of our needs. The only glitch was on the part of VRBO as we did not receive the passcode to get in until after the occupancy time. The property manager was very responsive and remedied the situation immediately. If the was any complaint it had to do with lightening. Very low light in every room but the master suite bathroom. I would be delighted to stay there again.

Girl’s getaway

The house was a perfect walking distance to town. The house was perfect and I Loved the wrap around porch. I had a few questions which Anthony answered pretty quickly. I wish we could have had a fire pit but then we probably would have been too loud especially since quiet time in the neighborhood starts at 10pm.

South Haven Stay

Property as advertised. Very quiet street. Safe, 10 minute walk to the center of town. Too far to walk to the beach with beach stuff but only a 1 mile drive with street parking 1 or 2 blocks from the beach ( if lot is full). South Haven is now golf cart friendly. Reserve a golf cart in advance and you are set. S

I am from the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago and have been lucky to call South Haven, Michigan my home-away-from-home my entire life. My favorite parts of the area are the charming downtown with fun food and drink spots, watching boats go to and from Lake Michigan on the Black River out of the huge marina, multiple family-friendly parks and the new splash pad, and of course, the sugar-sand beaches with unbeatable sunsets. During all seasons, there are orchards for fruit picking, excellent wineries and breweries and popular towns like Holland and Saugatuck nearby. South Haven has always been the perfect vacation spot for me and my family; it is my hope that my visitors enjoy it as much as we do.

The scenic beaches allow everyone to take in the euphoric atmosphere of Lake Michigan; from sunbathing to boating, there are many activities to partake in. The town itself is rich with entertainment ranging from bars, restaurants, shops and even live music during summer events! There are no limits to one's stay here, and rest assured, all troubles will be forgotten!

Not only will you be minutes from the downtown area, but also about one mile from the sands of beautiful North Beach and other quaint beaches. Additionally, the house is moments away from the marina if you wish to go boating on the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan. Tot Lot Park is down the street from the house so your children are able to stay entertained before and after the days' activities. For convenience, multiple stores including Meijer, Aldi, Walmart, Dollar Tree and Menards are also down the street for anything you need to pick up.
