Fantastic Mountain Home

The home was perfect and was only minutes away from Hunter Mountain. The host was very responsive and helpful to make the check in and check out process a breeze. The home was very clean and cozy. The view from the back porch is breath taking. This will definitely be my first choice for any future trips to Hunter and I would recommend it to anyone!

Lovely getaway

The house was clean and comfortable. Beds were great. We loved the property. Gorgeous riverbed just behind the backyard was a great surprise. Kitchen could use some updated cookware but we were able to make all meals at home. We had a couple of issues that I didn’t call attention to until after we left but owner was glad to get feedback and said he’d take care of the problems I encountered. He was very responsive to other questions I had and gave us great suggestions for hikes. We were happy overall with this property.

Great ski weekend

The house was perfect for our ski weekend at Hunter mountain. It was a 5 minute drive to the ski resort and town of Hunter so was very convenient. There was plenty of space for the four of us and we had about everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing in the living room after our long cold ski days. The kitchen had about everything we needed but there are not a lot of extra condiments, spices etc. so best to bring what you need. We were very disappointed that the wood stove in the living room was not working as that was something we were looking forward to at the time of booking. We would hope that will be fixed soon as it would be a great winter feature. A few extra towels would be also be good as there were no hand towels provided, just full bath towels. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable throughout. The hosts were great with their communication and we will definitely look to stay here again on our future trips to Hunter mountain.

Thank you so much Steven for your stay and for your glowing review :-)! Unfortunately, the fire stove is inoperative for safety reasons. We do have plenty of hand towels and we have reminded the cleaning service to provide them to guests every time. You are most welcome to visit us again any time.

July 24-25 Hunter Stay

R.P. was a great host. He ensured we had all the details of the house so we could enjoy our stay. He contacted us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. His property has a lot of space for children’s activities. There was a very nice trail made for access to the stream. The kids enjoyed the time they spent in the stream. We loved the natural beauty of the surroundings. This was a very memorable stay.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Here are some recent reviews (July and August 2020):

"Archana and RP were gracious and communicative. Their home was spacious and well-maintained, and the property that it sits on is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed being close to some of the local trails and lakes. And Archana and RP made themselves available throughout our trip, always with a swift reply. Highly, highly recommended for a mountain getaway (perhaps especially with a toddler!)." - Yaniv

"Easily the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. Archana and RP’s place makes anyone feel right at home, super cozy with a beautiful view of the mountain. We had a wonderful time roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, grilling on the BBQ and seeing the stars from their deck. The house was very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Archana and RP went above and beyond in not only responding to questions we had, but suggesting great local restaurants and hiking trails. They even have a book of local hiking trails for you to see which you might like best. Incredibly accommodating and kind people, wonderful home and great location. If you’re looking to stay in Hunter this is the place to go!" - Camila

"We had a great time! Perfect escape from the city. Hosts provided a plethora of tips and info! Extremely quiet and serene, hosts were immediately responsive to any and all questions. A great time!" - Nicholas

It's all about the little details - our guests just can't get enough of our homes' charm and coziness, yet also love that it has modern facility and convenience you can ask for. Fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances; premium beds (one king and two queen), big-screen TV, High speed internet.
