Love the Location!

This property was great for our family. It was clean and spacious, and had a beautiful view. We've stayed in the Papa Kea Resort other years, and have loved it every time!

Lovely Stay

It's my third visit back to Maui and I had a great time staying at Papakea. The location is great, and it was wonderful to have an ocean view. Loved that the bathrooms and kitchen have been updated.

Wonderful Condo! We loved it!

Had a great time, the condo is beautiful! Great space and decor. The grounds and pools at Papkea are amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect Location, Very Comfortable

Super clean room with just the right amenities (AC, cookware, beach gear/towels). Loved the updates to the bathrooms and kitchens. Great location, and the resort activities (pickleball, putting green, pool) were just right. Would definitely stay here again.

Grad Family Celebration

Location and resort were great. Furniture needs an update but very clean and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was great! We had a wonderful time!

A beautiful apartment n a beautiful resort

The apartment is beautifully furnished and very well maintained. Papakea is a delightful resort with gorgeous gardens and fabulous ocean views. We especially loved watching the turtles from the ocean wall. The resort is well located with shops and grocery store nearby.

Great property

Very convenient oceanfront location, quiet neighbors, well kept property with everything we needed. Beaches were farther than I expected, but we still could drive or walk. People were very nice and I felt safe on the property.

Family friendly condo

The unit was great for a family, nicely updated kitchen and bath. The unit included beach towels and chairs which was convenient.

Great place

The place was clean and just as the pictures showed. The place was furnished with cooking utensils but need drinking glasses. Not much in condiments. Overall, great place to stay.

Nice oceanfront condo

Nicely maintained property. Walking distance to grocery and restaurants. Beach is at the nearby resort and almost too rough for swimming. Will need to drive a bit for calmer water.

Great value

We had a very good experience here. Nice clean property with great views of the ocean. All the employees were very nice and helpful. The condo itself was clean and nicely updated. We would definitely stay here again. Additionally, the condo was very quiet for great sleeping (good quality construction). Thanks again!

Family of 5

Perfect for a family with 3 teens! A queen and a twin in the second room meant my son didn’t have to sleep on an uncomfortable sleeper sofa . Close to the everything and great grounds if you want to stay out for the day at the property.

Love Papakea

We love Papakea! This unit was as described. It worked very well for 2 couples. Upon arrival I noticed a pile of hair behind the toilet .. it cleaned up quickly with the hand held vacuum - it just should have been caught. ( there is always hair in a bathroom.) as a VRBO owner I know this. We loved Maui and this unit was great!

Nice place!

The condo was clean and had everything as advertised. Although the property is not directly on the beach, it faces the water with a beautiful view. You can sit on a grassy area that overlooks the water. The beach is a very short walk away at the end of the property.

Nice condo.

All the necessities were available in the condo. My friends made breakfast every morning in the kitchen. Lots of beach equipment to take to the ocean and enjoy the sand and surf. We had no problems during our stay at all!

Nice but noisy

The unit and property are very nice however it should be noted that the unit is near the parking lot so it gets all the noise from it and from people waking up and down the stairs, especially in the master bedroom that has slat windows.

Well equipped, so comfortable, beautiful resort, awesome vacation

Everything from booking to check out was easily handled. Upon arrival we had issues with toilets draining, but contacted the property manager who ensured both were fixed and ensured our stay was comfortable. The unit was very well equipped. Great variety of kitchen utensils, comfortable beds with extra linens, TVs in each room equipped with streaming services, great ac unit to keep the unit comfortable, awesome view. The description of the grounds speak for themself: plenty of activities, great view, beautifully maintained, and a stellar location. Can’t wait to stay again.

AC limits

The main issue we had was with the Air Conditioning. There is technically AC in the place, but it is only in the living area. It wasn't powerful enough to cool the bedrooms. While there were fans in the bedrooms, it wasn't enough to keep us cool at night in September. However, the rest of the condo was really nice. Clean condo, awesome landscaping, great pools, and plenty of places to eat and shop that are within walking distance.

Four Star

The location is perfect. My only complaint was we found the cleaning to be lacking. there were HUGE toenail clippings left on the seat of chair in master bedroom and elsewhere in the condo. seems like they just sprayed cleaning smell but didn't wipe anything down. Thick layer of dust on pictures and shelving and cabinets in kitchen. We went and bought Clorox wipes and windex wipes. I reported to the front office my findings and they apologized but nothing came of it. The Condo itself was in fair condition, the bed was comfortable, the grounds were great.
