The house and the location was good. The cleaners were still there at our checkin time and remained for an hour after. That was tough after driving for 10 hours. The remotes needed batteries before we coiuld watch the TV . Other than that it was a good stay.

This was a very rear occurrence. Previous guests have mede a mess and cleaning people have to take extra time to clean the house. According to the guests cleaning person mentioned it was ok to do a good cleaning if needed. I always have batteries at the house in case if they have to used it for anything. No one can tell when the remote need batteries.

Our experience here wasn't horrible, but the place needs a good deep cleaning. When we contacted the host about smoke alarms being gone and the cleaning issues, he did send maintenance over unannounced to replace smoke detectors. When I asked for a partial payment refund of cleaning fee, I was attacked by the host. I was accused of blackmail and exploitation - he was completely over the top and very confrontational. I will end it there.

Great location, We were a family of 5, 13, 15 and 17 year old and it was a perfect base for Yosemite. 1 hour from main Yoseimte valley entrance (if you leave at 0545am like we did) and 45 mins from south entrance. Lovely quiet location. House was really clean and had everything we needed. Miriposa was approx 20 min drive away with lots of restraunt options. Don't let the distance to Yosemite put you off as its excellent value compared to closer options and much nicer. Was also really handy being able to do our laundry. Great washer and large separate dryer .

Loved the location and backyard access to the river. Only reason it’s not a 5 star is there was so many spiders we had to kill and I’m terrified of them.

Kitchen sink is in need of repair. Need indirect lightening in bedrooms for reading. Lamps on end tables would be good. Could add soap, shampoo and conditioner in bathrooms. Need kitchen linens . Kitchen was well stocked. We found one wine glass broken and we accidentally broke another one. Sorry. Beds were good. We were too busy to use outdoor amenities but it looked good. Maybe upgrade outdoor chairs.

Great vacation home for Yosemite.

This great house is good for a family vacation. It’s very comfortable but lacking some kitchen supplies and pots and pans. It’s only an hour and a half drive to Yosemite valley. No live TV but Hulu or Netflix is available but we didn’t use it.

Nice

It was a nice home. There were 7 adults and we each had a bed. Anything over we believe someone would be sleeping on the couch. The view was lovely out the back door. Lots of curvy roads to get to the location.

Riverside Manna

The riverside manna was very clean! Beds were soft, lots of extra blankets, plenty of cook ware. The surrounding area was beautiful. The creek was a short walk and was great to sit and listen to. One afternoon while in the creek a bear did come within 10 ft from us. He was not aggressive but that was scary. The creek is beautiful though. Everything was great. The host has great communication skills.

The property was really nice, clean, and well maintained. It was very spacious and well furnished. We were able to walk down to the river / creek behind the property and spend some quality time there. Even saw flocks of turkey wandering about that was quite fun for the kids! The host also called us the first day to make sure we were settled in and that was quite nice. Plenty of shopping and dining options at a 5-7 min drive so we didnt really have to worry about food at any time. Overall a 5/5 experience and we wouldnt mind staying there again when we visit Yosemite next time.
