Club Wyndham Resort (2 bedroom condo)

Set your cares adrift in Kailua-Kona when you reserve one of the many well appointed Two-Bedroom, two bath condos at the Resort. When staying at the resort in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island’s west coast, you’ll feel as if you’re stepping back in time to a simpler, unspoiled era. The resort is designed to re-create the charming island ambiance found back in the ’30s, while still assuring you all the comfortable amenities and activities you expect in a modern-day tropical resort. Amenities are in no short supply and include a full kitchen, allowing you to save big bucks on the Big Island, and a washer and dryer, which means fewer clothes to bring and lower airline baggage fees.

We are renting a 2 bedroom - 2 bath condo that is 1,156 square feet in size. Each of the 2 bedrooms have a king size bed. The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen and washer/ dryer. Enjoy your morning breakfast on the patio or balcony. The resort amenities are 2 outdoor swimming pools, picnic/BBQ area, 2 outdoor hot tubes, outdoor children's pool, and exercise equipment.

The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. We can put up to two names on the guest confirmation and the rest of the guest can be added at check in. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $129.00 CHANGE FEE. The resort requires the person responsible for checking into the condo to be 21 or over.

The resort collects a daily occupancy tax of $13.47. This is not included in the rental cost. Also, the resort requires a $250.00 security deposit at check in. The security deposit is refunded at check out.

We were there for three nights and it was perfect for our whale watching cruise, birthday dinner, and visits to the historical parks.

Great place to stay

We loved the location of this property. It was spacious and great for our family of 6. Also offered great amenities. The property manager was also awesome to work with when a slight problem with our reservation came up. It was handled quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice resort, good location, a few miles from downtown!

The check-in process was easy. It's a timeshare resort, but they didn't hassle me which was really nice. The condo was as described. The rooms were large. The ac was nice to have as was the washer and dryer. The parking spaces were a good size, unlike some places where they can be tight. We would stay here again!

The place was great.

We visited from Canada and had a great time. The place was good. It wasn't a brand new 5 star but clean and perfect for our for a family of 4 with older kids. 1 kid took the 2nd bedroom and the other slept on the pull out couch. The resort is in a great location. Parking was good there was always a spot available. Grounds were well kept and the service in the resort was good. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. The patio was large and very nice to sit on and enjoy the morning coffee. I would stay here again.

Great location/Responsive service

The location of the property was perfect for our stay. The landscaping was impeccable and public facilities were well maintained. Additionally, the service request (towels, coffee filters, laundry soap) response was quick and courteous. The only complaint we had was due to the upstairs neighbor. I would have made effort to request an upper floor unit if I could have had foresight on the lack of courtesy from the neighbors above us.

Great condo small pool

The condo was great except for thin walls, where you could hear people next-door, and below pretty easily. We felt very comfy there, but the bathtub jets did not work, which was not a huge deal because everything else worked pretty well. The pictures of the pool made it look a lot larger than it actually was, and it was full of kids, which is not the fault of the owner, but we did not go in the pool because of the size and that it was just too full. Also, half of one of the two pools was roped off and closed. The location was great, but probably wouldn’t stay here because of the noise and the pool.

Big Island relaxation and fun

Very good location to access beaches and snorkeling. Due to Covid, staying in to cook meals was a big plus, plus safe. Kitchen had all the utensils and kitchenware to make meals and bake.

Great place to stay!

We stayed here March 2018. Great location, about a twenty minute drive to airport. Quiet, family friendly and perfect location for what we wanted to do which was relaxing, sight seeing the west side of the island before heading over to Hilo area. This condo is very clean, well maintained and stocked with nessecities, and the grounds are beautiful. Complex has pack & play at no extra charge, which was great! Pools are nice. Gas Bbq areas throughout complex. Staff is very friendly and quick to respond to your needs. Check in was easy, tour staff can go over your questions and book your tours right there, You are five minutes from town, nice restaurants and shopping, close to beaches and snorkeling. Booking was very easy. I would highly recommend staying here.
