My first impression was the place was super cute and would be a nice place for us for the weekend. And it would have been with a little air conditioner.
Myself, my husband, and our three children rented this condo for a weekend in April. When we arrived, the air conditioner was on but it was 76 in the condo. Gave it the evening and overnight, never cooled down. The air wasn't cold at all. We had to sleep with the bedroom window open which made the road noise so loud I couldn't sleep. The next morning, we contacted the realty company. We were told someone would be out within an hour. When we returned from the beach, it was still hot, no AC. I called again. I was told they had been out to look at it but had not been able to contact the owner and couldn't do any work without their approval. The person I spoke with was very nice and said all they could do was bring out fans. A very nice lady brought out two large fans and a coupon for a free pizza for our trouble (only good for local locations and we were checking out the next morning). We spent that night with large, loud, fans running at the balcony door and our bedroom window. It was fun working around them in such a small space to t pack and clean up. So much noise which again caused issues with sleeping. When we got up the next morning, it was 78 degrees in the room.
The washing machine smelled awful when I opened the door. It's a front loader and the seal around the door was black, the sliding glass door to the balcony did not lock, and the rental agreement from previous tenants was left on the table.
Honestly, I would have given it 5 stars but we paid almost $1,000 to spend a weekend at the beach in a place with no air conditioner. And it was HOT.
