This location was great, close walking distance to old town Fort Collins, and was directly across from the library, which has a GREAT park for kids. We used the park every morning and every evening during our stay here.
The space was clean and modern inside, with a decently equipped kitchen. The space was as we expected and was as shown in the photos. We were in a ground level unit when we stayed. It was a small two-bedroom apartment that was in a complex of about 8 units. There is a small, shared patio available for all guests from the complex.
There were booklets and lots of information provided for the area and things to do by the host.
The a few things to note/ be aware of:
• We were here in late July, and it was quite hot. The single window unit worked to cool off the living room and dining areas, but was not effective to keep the bedrooms cool. There were ceiling fans in the bedrooms, which helped to keep air moving, but it was a bit uncomfortable for the adults in our group.
• While taking a shower, if other guests in adjacent units are also showering or using the facilities, the hot water becomes scalding without notice. I am aware this can happen with older homes/buildings, but is something to be aware of if you are there with small children.
• There is laundry available, but the single washer and dryer is shared with all units on the ground floor, only assessible from an outside door. There were laundry detergents/softeners provided at no cost, but you have to use credit card to pay for both washing and drying.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. It was a good way to explore old town Fort Collins.
