Great family vacation spot

Had a wonderful week ! Was a bit of a hike over the very steep dunes to beach with small children and older adults but we made it! Lots of stairs in the house but otherwise perfect

Peaceful

House is amazing. Area is very relaxing. Short walk to the beach but be prepared for climbing the dunes to get to the beach. My friend and I definitely got our steps in walking up and down all the stairs in this massive house. Great time had and the hot tub felt amazing at night after a long day.

Great location

Overall the house was nice. A few things that were supposed to be fixed while we were there was the outside lighting..... no lights around the pool or in it worked, the lights on the top deck did not work either. A maintenance person came and tried to fix the lights but said someone else would have to come because it was over his pay grade and ability. The cleanliness of the house overall was okay. You were able to tell the cleaning crew only vacuumed around the furniture because there was still dirt and food from the family before all around the table and under the couches. We had a BAD problem with ants and had to keep all food that was open on the kitchen table because when they came to spray for the ants it ran them all into the pantry. I will say that the staff was very polite and sent someone right over the next day to fix complaints. Though the lighting outside never did get fixed while we were there so we were unable to use the pool at night. The mattresses were also REALLY HARD. But overall we had a GREAT time and would stay again. Will definitely bring a mattress pad to soften the beds a little.

Friends Trip

This property is the perfect place to spend a week at the beach! There is plenty of room to spread out from your family(or friends in our case) especially having two little ones with us. The house is very clean also. Loved the ammenities(pool but was too cold this week,pool table, and hot tub!) Super short drive to the drive on beach/beach access for us. Will definitely keep this house in mind for our future trips!

Great house in a nice neighborhood

Had a great stat with family. Pool was clean and cool and the neighborhood is great. Little bit of a walk to the beach but that is just because the dunes themselves are so long.

Nice house, bad management

We were told we could check-in between 4-6, but received an email that we couldn’t check-in until we heard from them. We received that email at 4:55. The house looked clean until we walked around and my son-in-law removed his socks and it was covered in dog hair. The master bathroom shower curtain was covered in mold and mildew. The linen was not stripped off the beds, I can only assume it was from the previous customers because we did not purchase a linen package. We called house cleaning and told them all that we had found and all they could say was “so do you want your house cleaned?” No apology. On our last day, we called the realty company to see if we could have a late check-out and the gentleman we spoke with didn’t even check to see if that was possible. They had no problem checking us in late but no consideration in trying to see if a later check-out was possible. This was our first trip to the outer banks and aside from the accommodations we loved the trip.
