Welcome to your perfect Outer Banks getaway! Our newly built beach cottage in Salvo, NC (completed April 2024) blends classic beach‑box charm with modern coastal style. Enjoy an open floor plan, a bright kitchen, and relaxing water views throughout your stay.

Relax on the front porch in an Adirondack chair and watch kiteboarders on the sound, or pair a stunning sunset with your favorite drink. Beach access is just a short walk away — private access is located at the end of our street. After a day in the sand, rinse off in the beautiful outdoor shower.
Linens and bath towels are included for all guests.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beach house! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes walk to the sand with amazing ocean views. The host was kind, responsive, and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. We especially loved spending mornings on the downstairs deck with coffee and evenings hanging out and playing the games they had!

Cute, clean, and convenient!

We had a wonderful stay in Salvo! The house is clean, well furnished, and comfortable. It's close to the sound, ocean access, and many restaurants and stores near by. It has a fully enclosed pet area that includes some yard and most of under the house- super convient for the early morning or late night pup potty break! The host was friendly and quick to respond with any communications. Would definitely stay again!

Great location

We stayed here for Spring Break with our two teens and dog. The house is super clean, perfectly located and comfortable. We walked to the sound for sunsets and to the beach - both easily walkable and fast. The highway is close, but it isn't a distraction and the noise is minimal. There were bikes to use but the tires were flat (didn't see a pump, but there may have been one) and there are kayaks as well. We rented a pontoon boat on the sound close by and that was a highlight. Dollar General is a stones throw away for essentials and Waves is just across the street with a good wine selection.We had a great time - loved the size of the house especially with our dog. Highly recommend this property!

Fabulous + Clean Beach home!

We absolutely loved our stay in Salvo! The house is new and recently renovated. It was our first trip to southern OBX and highly recommend staying here. Salvo is a quieter part of OBX, really good for relaxing and getting great beach time. Notes on Salvo/Location: The house is a block away from Waves market, which has a killer breakfast burrito and has a ton of food + pantry items, toiletries, etc. The closest large grocery store is in Avon about 16-20 minutes away, which is where we shopped for big grocery items/meat/seafood etc. We had amazing coffee at Beans & Beads, loved Lisa's Pizzeria, & Neptune's Bar. The house sits just off the main road, and is about a 10-13 minute walk to the beach (it feels fast because it is a straight-shoot down the street). We brought our own beach chairs and umbrella, but it was really nice the house provided extra chairs, beach toys, and a well-functioning cart (necessary to transport everything!). We used the grill a couple times--it was great. The ignition doesn't work on the grill, but we used the long lighter provided by the house to ignite the flames (easy!). The kitchen is huge and has really good storage and is fairly well-stocked. The air conditioning was great--important for the beach! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. We loved drinking our coffee on the porch. Christina is a fabulous host--she gave us great recommendations and was incredibly responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!!

I’m a New Englander who has always felt at home by the ocean. Life is full and busy with three rescue dogs and a career in the nonprofit world, which makes it especially meaningful for me to share my little slice of paradise with fellow travelers.

The Outer Banks has a magic all its own. After traveling the world, it’s the place I return to when I need to reset, reconnect with family, and find peace. Hosting gives me the chance to share that feeling with others, and I hope the OBX brings you the same joy it brings me.

I love our neighborhood! If you’re looking to escape the chaos of everyday life while still staying close to modern conveniences, this is the perfect spot. Our area sits right off Highway 12 — a quiet two‑lane road — and you can get just about anywhere by bike.

Fresh pastries in the morning? Yes! For lunch some of the best sandwiches around are right across the street. Every time I arrive here, it feels like taking a deep exhale. It’s peaceful, simple, and exactly what a beach getaway should feel like.
