Nice enough house, needs some updates.

Overall it was a nice location and house. Could definitely use some updates. The main part of the house was beautiful and we loved the wrap around decks. The bedrooms and bathrooms need some updating and repairs. The kitchen had basic supplies for cooking. The dryer was horrible and destroyed multiple items of our clothing (ripped holes in many items). The jaccousi worked, but not all the buttons did. The house was clean for the most part, but we kept stepping on little thorns that weren't swept up from the previous guests. The outdoor shower did not work at all, water just comes out at barely a trickle. The house was decorated with a nice beachy theme, we had plenty of space and the kids made use of the pool table. There were broken pieces on the foosball table. It would have been nice to have more than just a few basic channels on the TVs. We enjoyed walking to the ice cream shop down the road. Check in/out process was smooth.

Good location; house needs TLC

The house was clean but needs a professional cleaning (carpet was stained, couch was worn, outdoor furniture needs painted). There were a few maintenance things that needed repaired and the rental office had a repairman come the next day. The distance from the house to the beach was about a 4 minute walk on a sand path. The beach was nice. Our weather was decent but there were big waves. Overall, a relaxing vacation.

Very nice, needs attention

The home was nice but there were a number of things that didn’t work right. Kitchen could be better equipped. Main complaint is that none of the 6 TVs worked! Internet didn’t work at first either. Repeated calls. Internet fixed by Tuesday but still no tv (and we had a rainy week and would have loved to watch movies!)not even smart TVs so we couldn’t stream. Nice place but the way it’s situated one could only see the horizon —not able to enjoy waves/ocean views from the decks. And only enough deck chairs for 4. A lot of small things that could easily be remedied! Beds were comfortable! Hot tub was nice!

Solid 4 experience

Generally good experience. Fit the needs of our party (group of late 30 year olds, with tween kids, looking for a good place to tip several back and spend most days on the beach). You will like this place if you love 90s interiors, generally just want to sleep and shower, want to be seperated from the touristy-commercial stuffs, are a holiday inn express type. Pool table/foos ball/hot tub were great. Beach access took some work (which you can figure from the google sat images - not uncommon for the area). Kitchen was very poorly equipped. Working with booking through a realty company was...2 star. "Can you fedex a check?" -No. And i don't own a fax machine either. $40 charge to pay by CC...seriously? Not what i expect nor have experienced with previous rentals. Outside that weirdness, totally average. Overall, the property was very good. I would recommend it to friends with the requirements above. Next time, we will probably stay someplace else. YMMV.
