In the heart of Ludlow so you walk to all the shops and restaurants.Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook.The house was lovely. Upstairs beds looked great even though we didn’t need them.Would be great for families.

This large comfortable property is located just a few blocks from downtown Ludlow. It had everything we needed and it was great to relax by the fire pit in the evening. It has lots of space and everything is up to date. You can't go wrong.

Great Ludlow stay

This location was wonderful for our VT trip. Walkable to great restaurants and so close to Okemo. The place was comfortable and had everything we could want.

Great Stay!

This was a beautiful, clean, comfortable property to stay at! The beds are INSANELY comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and nice. We were sad we only stayed one night. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is minutes from Okemo, grocery stores, and restaurants. Beds were incredibly comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We had a wonderful time!

I arrived in Vermont in 2016 as a DIY creator, using my own spaces for home‑improvement projects and design work. Before long, my little rental side hustle blossomed into something bigger. I took the leap and built Sugar Maple Mountain Retreat: a trio of boutique cabins nestled deep in the woods, designed for comfort, creativity, and cozy Vermont living. Today, I’m proud to call VT home and to host guests year‑round in Ludlow and Cavendish.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I traveled through the area in the summer of 2015 and fell in love with Vermont and the area. That fall my husband and I found an old duplex built in 1835. It had great bones, lots of natural sunlight and plenty of potential to make it a unique getaway infused with character. Ludlow and its surrounding towns and attractions made the location perfect for a year-round destination that families and friends could enjoy. The old home was in rough condition but structurally sound. All it needed was creative updating and ingenuity. After a year plus of hard work, many hours of labor and lots of projects behind us, we are happy to introduce the North House Lodge.

We aren't done yet! Is a project house ever really done? Visit us each season to see what's new and what we've changed.

Enjoy the experience! Why stay in an ordinary vacation rental home when you can stay in a bloggers showcase home. Besides offering a fantastic location within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and a huge list of activities. You'll find dozens of upscale and unique DIY projects in both of my units at the North House Lodge. I love beautiful features that make a home stand out like sliding barn doors and a variety of creative planked wood walls. Like a particular room or look in one of my units?
