Our family enjoyed a relaxing stay at this Chelan property. The home was clean and comfortable, and the layout worked well for a family getaway. The highlight was definitely the wonderful deck — spacious, inviting, and perfect for taking in the spectacular lake views throughout the day.A couple of things to note for future guests: the thermostat was a bit tricky to operate, so temperature adjustments took some trial and error. 'Use your finger to slide along the outside of the unit, there isnt a dial, it just detects your touch'. Also, the garage didn’t appear to be available for use, which wasn’t a major issue but good to know ahead of time.Overall, this is a great spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy Chelan’s scenery. The deck and views alone make it a memorable stay.

Beautiful place and area

Perfect for what we wanted! It was near a wedding venue we were going to, wineries and town. The lake was beautiful!

This is a lovely property! The home is well furnished and has two separate living rooms which is great with kids. The kitchen is well supplied and the morning sun is grand via the large windows. Fishing from the doc was an added bonus for our family!

Great home- Clean, spacious and well stocked kitchen, spacious and great floor plan. Quiet and beautiful views of the lake and vineyards. We had troubles with our door code working when we first arrived, but the management company was responsive within 15 minutes. The only downside was that the lake is not swimmable due to an unhealthily lake ecosystem. Location is close to Lake Chelan and surrounding wineries.

Roomy lake house with great view!

We enjoyed a short Covid getaway to the Lake Chelan area. This lake house is close to all the fun wineries and sites. We enjoyed hanging out at the dock fishing, and we rented a rowboat from the small campground (2 min walk away). The kitchen is well-stocked and the rooms are spacious. The view from the upper deck is lovely. A pool table or other games downstairs would make this lake home more fun for families. Overall, a great rental.

The property was great, very quiet and the house is nice. Unfortunately the smoke alarm at the top of the vaulted ceiling started beeping the first night and they had no one to come and change the battery. We had to listen to the beep every 30 seconds for 15 hours (through the night, interrupting sleep) before they fixed it. Also, there were no beach towels. But everything about the house itself was very nice. The dock was good too, but the stairs getting to it were a bit tricky. Overall, I would likely go back, but would have liked a better response to the smoke alarm situation.

Serene lake house.

Beautiful home situated on lake wapato. Quiet lake and a serene setting. There is a shared dock with the neighbor. Plenty of room. Only 2 issues. 1. The hill from the house to the dock is steep. Just beware for those of us who are older. 2. The plumbing desperately needs to be fixed. Anytime you run water for anything it will produce an unending sound of a foghorn. It made it difficult to let people rest during the day. If that gets fixed, we would definitely be back.

Beautiful home on quiet lake

We were very pleased with this beautiful home and would rent it again. We sat on the dock in the evenings and enjoyed the wildlife. Home was well equipped. There was a problem with the air conditioning, but it was resolved quickly.

A very good property, great view of the lake. Very clean. Kitchen was very well equipped which was very appreciated. Has a nice yard for the kids to play in. Beds were comfortable. 5 pm check in time is a bit late...

Beautiful place with great views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wapato lake resort. The surrounding was peaceful and the space was clean. It's a perfect spot for a family or friends outing.

Nice lake house

The condition (very clean!) and layout of this property was great for our family of four. It would have easily accommodated another couple or another family if all the kids could be thrown in the bunk room. The beds were very comfortable. We were pleasantly pleased to find one of the large beds was a king (the other a queen); I thought both were queens. The kitchen has essential cooking utensils/pots only so bring everything else you need, from salt & pepper to anything special you like to use. The wifi and overall internet/satellite service was very disappointing; it would be very difficult to try to work from here, for example. We could not stream entertainment and TV options were available only on low res due to a poor satellite connection. We also could not get the fireplace to turn on (we sent an email, but didn't hear back; next time we'll call). We were most excited about the dock so that we could do some fishing; this was on us, but we did not realize until we got there that Wapato Lake was already closed and we'd need to drive over and find a place on Lake Chelan. We'd go back, but only during fishing season and when we could be outside more instead of wanting to cozy up indoors.

Very nice. Only complaints are that there were a lot of bugs. here are spider webs up on the ceiling and screens needs to be cleaned up. The dock area could very easily be cleaned up to provide a small sandy beach area instead of sticks and some visible trash.

Quiet, Relaxing Lake Home

We had the best time staying on Lake Wapato. The house itself was spacious. It was clean, easy to book, and a perfect family getaway. Its also isolated enough that you can easily stay away from people for COVID safety. My only negative is that I would have loved to have 1 additional bedroom (only 3 total) vs. a bunk room with a listing for up to 10 people. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Peaceful beautiful view

We spent 3 nights there with my son and his family over Father’s Day weekend. The house was clean and spacious, with nice bedding and ample bathroom towels. The kitchen had just enough but nothing extra. No ice maker in refrigerator. The two worst things was the VERY slow and unusable WiFi. Bring your own dvds or hit up redbox. No streaming available. And the AC, the thermostat is locked at 74 which sounds fine but the AC ran none stop. The daylight basement was freezing, while the upstairs couldn’t be cooled off.

Winderful house and lake swimming! Small quiet lake

Wonderful! However, one small room has two bunkbeds:queen lowers and twin uppers, and is supposed to sleep six. If kids yes; but definitely not adults. Recommend couch in rec room be a fold out bed.

Decent place overall, but there’s a few issues

Positives : Great kitchen, accommodations overall were decent. The dock on the lake was great! It was a great location for us and felt central to everything we had planned. Cons : Unfortunately the house didn’t stay that cool, probably due to the poor AC system. The pillows were like pancakes, the WiFi was terrible and the VERY LATE check-in was a pain! 5pm check-in is not practical. Little things that were annoying, were the lack of hangers in closets and lack of mirrors was a pain.

View from every room!

What a beautiful location and home! The pros on this home are it's a wonderful family time spot and grounds. The house was clean and comfy beds. Great upper level deck. However we had some hiccups. The outside "keybox" was antiquated and very cumbersome to say the least. It needs to be updated to a keypad code #. The grill on the deck and flooring hadn't been cleaned for some time. We chose not to grill because it was filthy. We seriously did love the home but these matters need to be addressed.
