New owner, new updates, same great spot! Perfect place for family fun in Chelan

Our Wapato point home is the perfect place for a family vacation or a weekend get-away. Relax in in our spacious and comfortable 2200 ft vacation home and enjoy the great room with wide screen TV and large dining area to gather your crew. We offer king beds in our primary and guest bedrooms, along with amazing, panoramic mountain views. The third bedroom has a double size futon with twin bunks. (You can leave your pack-n-play and high chair at home, as we have those available for you as well.). All bedrooms have TV’s and we have full wireless/DSL service.
The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, griddle, waffle iron, blender...and all utensils and pots and pans to satisfy your cooking needs.
There is deck out back with a BBQ and fire table and a porch out front, both great for lounging and gathering.
Our home is conveniently located just steps away from one of Wapato Point’s outdoor pools and large grass field perfect for outdoor games. And you are just a short stroll to several sandy lake beaches.
As a guest, you have access to all Wapato Resort amenities which include an indoor pool and hot tub, open year round. You can also enjoy the tennis and pickle ball courts, volleyball and basketball courts, dock facilities and buoys, putt putt golf, fishing pond, along with the great fishing available in Lake Chelan, as well as a playground for the younger set. All this while nestled in the Chelan basin with amazing award winning wineries, alpine hiking, golf courses and small town charm.
Please note special rates apply for holidays along with a three day minimum stay. During the summer season we offer our home on a weekly basis, Friday to Friday.

Five Years in a Row - and Counting

This was our fifth year at this property. We absolutely love it. The house is well designed and the owners pay attention to the details. Each year, the house is upgraded or improved in some way. There is so much to do in the area. We're looking forward to our stay next year!

Wapato in the Winter

This is a beautiful house with large rooms, fireplaces and a large, well-stocked kitchen. We hosted a dinner for other family members one night and stayed warm by the roaring fire.

Wapato Point Vacation Home

We had a wonderful week in Manson. The home was just perfect in location, accommodations and comfort. Mornings on the back deck watching the lake activities, our own morning walks and afternoon wine tasting shenanigans made for an exceptional week. The McClain home is top notch - it truly exceeded our expectations.We hope to return next year.

Amazing Chelan House

We love this house, this is our second time staying in it! Great rambler layout, lots of space, large kitchen that is well supplied! They even have toys for the lake, pool, pickleball and putt putt golf! Owners communicate very well and we are already figuring when we can return again! Love the location with privacy and a pool that has a big grass field. Excellent for kids!

This is one of our favorite properties on Wapato Point. Dana & Kevin are wonderful hosts, and the house is perfect for a group of family and/or friends. We are always sad to pack up and leave!

Great location, amazing view!

We had another wonderful stay at this great property on Wapato point. Located on upper point Drive, with a fantastic covered patio with views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Close to the pool in Wapato point Manson have offer. Well appointed kitchen, has everything you need for a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Another Great Stay Here!

We've been staying at this house consistently during spring break the past few years. It's a great house in a great location. We love the views, the wood-burning fireplace, and the local wineries. There are lots of activities for everyone in the family in Wapato Point the Lake Chelan area.

Great stay during Winter Holidays!

We stayed here for 10 days starting from December 17th, and we really enjoyed our stay! The location of property is very good, and it is very nicely done inside, with special touches such as fully decorated Christmas tree and Chelan related themes inside of the house. We appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need, and also had basic necessities such as coffee, tea, cooking oil etc. We will definitely be looking forward to coming back!

This property is a true gem!

I have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and this was by far the most amazing home I've visited. It was immaculate, organized and decorated with care and talent! The home is spacious and well-appointed with many places to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather. The beds were comfortable and had all the little things to make you feel as if you were in your own home. It is a moderate walk to downtown Manson which was lovely on a sunny afternoon. Wapato Point has trails and parks and lots of outdoor activities. I highly recommend this property!

My wife and I are no strangers to vacationing at different VRBOs. Some of them are viewed as adequate while others are viewed as really good. Very few can be considered excellent. This property is one of them. There isn’t one area that would warrant any substandard reviews. The accommodations from luxury room features to availability of essential accessories make this rental property a solid choice and worth returning to. Oh, did I mention the breathtaking views?

Vacation dream house

This house had everything we hoped for and more. The kitchen was so well stocked it was as if we never left home and everything was so well organized. Every amenity you could hope for from a wagon, to every pot and pan, towels, even ziploks! We greatly appreciated our stay, are already wanting to book next year and the price was a very attractive number as well. I highly recommend, great job Dana!

Great place!

We absolutely loved our stay! This was our second year staying there and will definitely be back. It’s so close to the outdoor pool and walking distance to the beach and golf! The house is very kid friendly which was great with our 3 kids!

We keep coming back to this house. It's in a beautiful location surrounded by great wineries. We love the wood-burning fireplace. The owners made a couple of nice updates to the kitchen this past year. This is a well-maintained property.

Wonderful, Clean Home!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The house was very clean, updated and had everything you would need or want! I am very familiar with the property the house is on and I would definitely rent this house again! Winter Wonderland!

This home was perfect for a pre-Christmas getaway with our party of 6: 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 little girls (4 & 2). Nature provided the snow and the fully Christmas decorated home met all of our needs. 3 large bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large fully-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area. With temperatures hovering around 0-10 degrees, we were fairly housebound but there were many games and a full range of baking supplies as well as several TVs for movies and entertainment. It was just perfect for our trip. Definitely the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in!

Lovely home and beautiful decor

In town for a family wedding. This large home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was perfect for two families. Loved the large kitchen and huge great room. The view was gorgeous with a sprawling sitting porch. Thank you Dana for your hospitality and sharing your home with us.
