Family Holiday
We spent a great week at the villa (Adult and two older teenagers).
The area is very interesting and a little cooler than being by the coast, but only a 25 min drive from the main coastal road which can be joined at the airport. The village itself is a steep walk up the mountain side but can be accessed from car parks at the top, making visiting the lovely restaurants and shops much easier.
The villa was very quiet and had good facilities for cooking and barbecue with easily accessible supermarket, bakery, wine and cheese shop a few minutes drive away just outside the village. The owners who live in the adjoining house just above and behind the property (seperate entrance) were very discreet and you would not know they were there. As previous reviews have said, the access into the car parking is quite narrow and care must be taken when making the turn from the narrow lane into the parking, which is reasonably spacious and nicely shaded. The roads up the mountain can be very narrow too, with tight hairpin bends around the village, so a large 4x4 might have issues getting in!
There is wifi available but the TV is a little older with just some European satellite stations available, meaning that if you wanted to stream your own devices or audio there was no facility even if you brought a chromecast or similar. We brought a bluetooth speaker which was very useful.
The pool was just as described but probably not suited to small children.
All in all well recommended.
