Delightful, and characteristically French house in a nice part of the town of Cagnes-Sur-Mer. Our hosts who lived next door were helpful and friendly. We did not have a car but the bus station was less than ten minutes from the house and the railway about fifteen minutes. The beach also is accessible within fifteen minutes walk, so we could swim and found an excellent place to eat. Travel up and down the coast by bus or train was inexpensive, so we visited, Menton, Monaco, Beau-Lieu, Nice and Antibes, as well as inland to the old town of Vence. We walked to the Musee Renoir and the ticket gave us free entry to the Grimaldi Chateau in the old hill-top centre, and reached by free shuttle bus.
