It was ok

No air conditioner in the unit and it was very warm. The 2 fans were of little value. If you’re a hot sleeper I do not recommend that his unit. Also, the smell of mildew in shower is very strong. Otherwise it served its purpose. The beds were comfortable and the water got hot so we were satisfied.

Great Cozy Property

Property was perfect for a cabin nestled on a Mountain. Everything was ready to go and property owner was super quick to respond. Pull out sofa and Murphy bed gave great options for kids.

This is our usual.

We have stayed at Iron Horse many times and LOVE the location. It is ski in/ski out and Mary Jane is where we spend most of our time so that part is the best! The property itself is old and could use some updating, there are things that are not offered at similar places (like towels for the hot tub), and there is no staff around to ask questions (like...are there towels somewhere?, where is the laundry room? and, there is a restaurant but when is it open because we never seen it open?). The condo itself says it's been updated but it's been a while.

Great MLK family weekend

We had a great time! The place was great for the five of us, it’s a true ski in ski out, very easy totally recommend it A few suggestions would be to update some of the kitchen appliances and tools Also it would nice to replace the pillows and mattress in the living room And lastly having actual pool towels would be helpful

First time to Winter Park

Great location. It is SISO but *must be able to do a blue run*. If not the free shuttle picks up at the door! The garage was excellent for parking. Balcony and windows had an awesome view. Management was very responsive. Unit was on the end of the hallway so very quiet.

Iron Horse is the perfect location for Winter Park skiing

Location: The Iron Horse condos are perfectly located to the slopes and village. We were able to ski in and ski out with ease. We walked into the village and shuttled back. This unit is located close to the stairs to walk over to the ski in and out. With equipment this is a huge plus. It was also in the same building as the pool and hot tub which was extremely convenient. Unit: This unit has an extra bedroom which was a huge plus for us. The kitchen was so convenient for making breakfast and lunches. Some of the non-stick pans should have been replaced but everything else was perfect. We didn't use the balcony but it the weather was warmer it would have been a nice option.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very affordable accommodations for my brother and I. Property management was very helpful and easy to work with. Would rent this space again. This space is a little closer to the walk-out point than several other properties that were open at our time of renting.

Wonderful Stay

Perfect stay. The condo fit our family of 4 just fine. Easy access to skiing. Played in the game room, enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was great.

Enjoyed the stay!

Great location, easy access to the mountain. The condo is as advertised. I stayed with my two boys and there was plenty of room for three. Responsive host and property management company.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great ski in access! The ski out is not perfect, requires a little bit of pushing or poling to get down to the gondola and Winter Park base. The building has great features with two large outdoor hot tubs and an indoor/outdoor pool, very nice game room area with ping pong, foosball, card/ board game tables, and video games. The parking garage was a huge plus for us as it snowed and we didn’t have to deal with de-icing the car. And the room was very comfortable for three adults with three queen size beds (bedroom, pull out couch, murphy bed). I think this is one of the larger units as many of them don’t have a bedroom. There is a full kitchen but the cookware is not great but sufficient. We’ve stayed at Zephyr before and I honestly liked this location better for a small group, especially for the value. But if your group is beginners then I would suggest staying at the Winter Park base instead where you are closer to lessons and beginner ski areas. There is a Lift shuttle bus that comes through though, so you could still have access to the WP base without dealing with parking.

Mighty one bedroom

We stayed here as a family of five and loved this unit. The pull out couch and the Murphy bed meant there was plenty of space for our kids to sleep to minimize teenage fighting. We were very impressed by the furnishings. Plenty of pillows, linens, and blankets for all the beds plus some extra for snuggling on the couch. Murphy bed was extremely comfortable for our teenage son and the pull out couch was excellent for a sleeper sofa. Overall, we were very happy and would certainly stay here again.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Since you could not sit on the couch due to the bed being put away wrong and there was not a comfortable seat in the place I was very disappointed. You can tell in the picture that this was Not a new occurrence because you can see the slant in the picture. The young maintenance man was very nice and tried to help us but it just needs a new couch. We should be compensated for this terrible experience. I would also say because there was no air conditioning our windows were open so when they started up construction for the new building at 7am there was no sleeping in either.
