Overall, okay stay. The location was great and the place was clean. Now for the negative, there are an annoying amount of “rules” for the condo and the property, it wasn’t very easy to relax. We primarily stay in these type of properties when traveling, and

This is a beautiful, well...

This is a beautiful, well kept condo. We highly recommend this top floor unit with a great view of both the pools and the beach. This unit is very clean and up to date. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying here again!

Fun holiday!

Family of 4 plus our pup enjoyed this property. comfortable seating and a surprisingly comfortable king sized bed! I was afraid after sitting on the edge it was going to be too soft, but it was just right! I have been staying at Sea Coast for years! The condo has plenty of towels and even some beach chairs! Will definitely consider this unit again.

The place was great. Only problem was there were not enough kitchen towels. Only 1 dish towel was there. Contacted the office and they left us 2 more. Not a major issue, but more towels are always great especially when there is not a washer/dryer in the condo room.

very nice

Nice ocean view, very clean and nice pool. The on site staff were very friendly and hard working. A few things would have made it perfect. The internet info was not correct, after a hour on the phone with Spe3ctrum we were able to solve the problem. The TV remote does not work well at all needs to be replaced. Both toilets ran water, I was able to fix myself but need attention. The digital lock on the front door sticks and does not open smoothly. Storm door comes unhooked from the closer bracket and the balcony light did not work.

Great Property - Great stay

Property was great, everything was spot on from the listing. Beautiful condo, nicely updated and decorated. Great location. Had issues prior to arriving with Great Ocean having our unit confused with another that was under construction the week before. During our stay the wifi info we were originally given was wrong, found the info on a magnet in a drawer. We left it on the fridge for next guest. (Password should be written out all lower case on the magnet though, took some trial and err to get it to work.) Also learned during our stay the actual property has 2 units assigned to 1 parking space. Made for a hard time for us to be able to park. Ended up parking at the church and walking and that was disappointing.

Excellent condo

The condo was nice and clean. Wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony. Nice updated kitchen with all the necessary equipment for cooking. My kids enjoyed having the Echo dot to listen to music.

Pleasantly surprised

Our condo was clean and had a lot of amenities that were very useful in our stay. Being right on the beach was a nice perk. It was a very convenient location for us with a grocery store across the street and places to eat/order from close by. The parking was probably the only complaint that we had. It would be nice to have at least 2 assigned parking spaces if needed. We had a group of 6 so having just one space made it challenging.

Great location, terrible timing

We loved the location of our condo, right on the beach, the pool was great, beach access wonderful, the condo management folks were terrific. Unfortunately, someone made the VERY bad decision to have all of the concrete walkways re-surfaced in the height of the busy season, and we were subjected to seven (out of our eight) weeks of horrible noise. Every day, from around 9:30 AM until 5:00 PM, there was a racket so loud, you had to leave the condo to get away from it - except it was just as loud at the pool, and you could even hear it on the beach. Anyway, we enjoyed our visit, and the condo was nice - the kitchen utensils/equipment need some serious updating, it was a challenge to find the right pans, pots, etc. to cook a meal, but the ocean front location was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

We are happy to hear that the Great Ocean Condos team was helpful, the condo location was amazing, and the home was well kept. Unfortunately, we just manage individual properties directly for the owners and have no control of maintenance that occurs on the complex grounds. We do our best to alert and/or move the guests once we have been updated on any construction. The good news is that construction like this is temporary and does not reflect the overall experience one would receive when visiting at other times of the year. We also hope that the refund the owner provided is seen as a good faith gesture for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We also alerted the owner regarding the kitchen equipment and utensils being updated. Well stocked and very comfortable!

This was our 2nd Christmas in this unit- it is clean and well stocked! I was thrilled to discover a Cuisinart food processor so I didn’t have to make my pie crust by hand! The beds are very comfortable and the complex has always been a great one- I have been visiting this complex for over 40 years- as my Grandparents best friend were original owners here- the maintainence and management has always been a high priority for this property- and it shows! We are bummed that they have decided to change the pet policy, as one of the things I love to do is get up early and take my dog to Smyrna Dunes and walk from the river to the ocean and catch the sunrise! if we decide to come without the dog we will stay in this unit again for sure! ❤️🏝😎

Outdated condo

The room needs a little update as did the pools ....and the 10 am checkout is tough. 11am would make a huge difference. The property is in a great location but the management wouldn't even let us drink water near the pool. Few minor tweeeks answers this place would be 4 to 5 stars

Not impressed!

When speaking with the booking agent I verified that this property was pet friendly. I was told yes. However after booking and paying for it, the rules and regulations were then sent stating the animal is not allowed anywhere on the premesis and can only be in the room not out on the balcony with us. in addition, we have never stayed anywhere that put stipulations on the amount of linens, towels, etc that could be used without either washing them ourselves or being charged an additional fee for more than the 2 loads that were allowed. We will not be booking any future stays with your establishment.

Hello Debbie, We are so sorry that you had to deal with these issues.While some of our owners are kind enough to allow pets on there properties, we have no control over the complex rules which dictate where animals are allowed to be on the premises. Sea Coast Garden III, NSB

Positives: We LOVED the location The general condo facilities (pool, community rooms, shuffleboard, etc) were clean and well maintained, although the elevators were a bit temperamental. The beach was amazing! Very clean, wide and "residential" rather than commercial. You could walk for miles in both directions, and only 1/4 mile north on the beach is nice beach restaurant/bar. Across the street are several good restaurants. New Smyrna Beach is a fun place for families or singles. Lots to offer, and convenient to other fun day trips (Daytona, St. Augustine, World Golf Hall of Fame, Titusville and Merrit Island Wildlife Refuge, Kennedy Space Center, Cassadaga, Blue Springs etc.). The rental agency, Great Ocean Condos, was really great to work with. Very responsive and professional. We'd definitely rent thru them again. Negative: While the unit itself was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the furnishings could use some attention. The furniture on the balcony was rusted, the dining room chairs were a hazard as they would easily tip, and the King size mattress in the master bedroom was like sleeping in two hammocks. We'll definitely return to NSB, and would enjoy staying in Sea Coast Gardens again, but we still probably look for a different unit.

family spring break

The unit was clean and well stocked. The pool was very nice. Access to beach was easy and safe. No cars were able to drive on this part of the beach.

Nice getaway

Well stocked condo with quality sheets and towels. I was able to book the condo for 4 days on short notice. The condo was clean and within walking distance of a restaurant. grocery store, and ice cream shop. Beach and pools were excellent.

Family time at the beach.

We spent our family vacation in New Smyrna Beach, our favorite place to visit. There was a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the pools and the beach. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. There was a really nice tv that had Netflix built in, this was a nice amenity that we used to watch movies together in the evenings. I personally found the bed and the pillows in the master bedroom not as comfortable as I would have liked. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Sea Coast Gardens lll Review

We arrived to Sea Coast Gardens on my husband's Birthday ...November 4....The area is beautiful ,November is the perfect time to be there .....We hope to return to New Smyrna Beach in the near future.
