The Pelican is one of New Smynra Beach's most beloved oceanfront condominiums. Wonderful vacation

We have been vacationing in NSB for over 15 years and plan to continue our yearly tradition!! This year we decided to try a different place to stay. We absolutely loved our condo and the entire property!! Our condo had everything we needed for our stay!! We will be returning and have already recommended it to friends!!

Relaxing

Great location to restaurants. Property is beautiful and well kept. Condo was perfect. The only quirk was the inconsistency of the hot water in the master bathroom shower. It would start hot but go cold a few times during a shower. Over all I highly recommend this condo.

The location, parking and grounds were nice. Unfortunately, the cons outweighed the pros. Thew sliding glass doors were not only dirty, but very hard to open and close. There were several lightbulbs out throughout the unit and the ceiling vents were full of lint. The washer, dryer and refrigerator were very loud. There was sand on the dining chairs and counter stools. The kitchen counter and drawers were dirty as well as some of the dishes in the drawers and cabinets. There were splatter marks on pictures and smudges on mirrors. The linen closet was full of wadded up blankets, towels and sheets. The faucet in one of the bathrooms didn't work correctly. Lastly, the elevator (#4) stunk and the certificate of operation expired on 08/01/2024. (over 6 months ago!)

WOW to the property and location. The furniture is all in need of update, beds were spectacular. The cleaning you could tell was flip and go , it’s been while since a deep clean that’s needed

Not as described but okay for older people

Where do I start. We arrived at night and the buildings weren’t marked so we had no idea where to go. Once we got into the room it was clean and of good size, however your view is partially obstructed by the other buildings. There are many codes you need to use to get around the complex, however we were given the wrong code and got locked out of the property. I texted the owner and didn’t receive a correct response so I had to get the code from the office. The elevator got stuck with someone on it twice so we had to go up six flights of stairs to get to our room until we found out there was another elevator to use. The pool closes at dusk which is now 5:00 pm and watch out for the big black snake that lives in the pool area. There was no beach to lay on as the water comes right up to the building all afternoon. However you can walk on it in the early am. Lastly, the bedrooms are hot at night and it doesn’t help that the owners control the thermostat and set it to 74 degrees. This property is sufficient for people over 60 in my opinion.

Oceanside Paradise

Our condo was absolutely beautiful. The view of the ocean was stunning! We enjoyed the pool area as well as the beach area. Lots of restaurants and activities nearby. Great communication and the condo is fully stocked. Amazing place to stay!

Wonderful!

Everything in this condo was as stated. Was very clean and very spacious and stocked with enough dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. We had a slight issue with lock on the door when we first arrived. However, we did figure it out the next day after talking with a representative from the condo. I highly recommend this condo, and would stay here again. Loved the location too!

Nice place. We enjoyed our stay.

The only negative was the Nest thermostat which was either programed or controlled by the owner to reset to 78 F every day. This was quite annoying.

Great Week exploring a new area.

We had a great stay. The place was great we enjoyed the pool and ocean view. We also did have 2 fantastic fishing trips.

Well maintain condominium complex. Spacious updated condo.

Great property. The Pelican Condominium Complex is well cared for. Pool deck and pool are clean. Grills were easy to use. One of the two pools was closed for the week we were there. The beach is steps away from the condo. The condo itself is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware and small appliances and very large for a condo. It has been nicely updated inside. We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a great view of a SpaceX rocket launch out of Cape Canaveral from the front door balcony. Only downsides were the keypad was being difficult. Usually took several tries to open the door. Remember to use insect repellent if you are outdoors in the evening or morning. The pool has some strict rules that were being enforced on the weekend.

The condo was very nice. Beautiful views, great beach access. I was glad that the interior was remodeled. Overall a very nice experience.

Nice condo minus one bathroom unusable half of trip

Very nice updated condo fully stocked. The condo association had great communication. We got a call 30 minutes before check-in the guest bathroom toilet was unusable and would be fixed Monday or Tuesday. This was a huge inconvenience having guests come through the master bedroom at night and very uncomfortable for them. The toilet was fixed on Wednesday. The owner refunded $229 (20% of each night affected) which does not cover the inconvenience, I requested 20% off the week which would be comparable to renting a one bathroom versus a 2 bathroom condo. The owners should have called for emergency plumbing service and had it fixed immediately and not 4 days later. I will rent from the management company again, but not this condo knowing customers experience is not a priority. One pool was closed our entire week stay as well.

Perfect getaway

Nice NSB stay at The Pelican

Great Condo on 6 floor, easy access by elevator, great views and great pool area and beach access...would rent again. Did have slight issue with we believe pet dander as we had a guest break out in some hives, but can't be positive could have been detergent or something. That being said it seemed at times we would have hair on our socks when went shoeless.... Check in was not the best as you can only check in after 4pm on Saturday but the office is closed so all the warnings about not having on pool bracelets and parking passes was kinda overkill, so we called and they said don't worry about it on the weekend they don't check? They took our name and number in case we had issues.....Odd.... This particular week there was no parking available after about 8pm because the were working on the roof and had supplies and equipment taking a huge amount of spaces. So when all residents were back at home in the evening there was no parking, a few nights we had to park elsewhere and walk to the complex.

AMAZING!!!

The condo was amazingly clean, super cute, close to beach and very private! We wished we would have stayed longer. Only thing is we left the property management a message about a leak coming from wall and never heard back. It happened 2 nights that we were there and then didn't happen again. So just wanted to notify them so nothing bad happened but they never returned our call.
