The property worked great for us, and if we had a reason to go to Auburn again, we would stay again. Easy walk to everything on campus. Smack dab in the commercial area with restaurants and bars and a Target out the window. But it is an old, historic (?) building. The entrances are up tired, rusty, metal stairs. The wood around the exterior doors are rotted. But once inside, the apartment is mostly solid. The showers have an 18" entrance, and are 2'x2' inside. One is clean and in good condition, although one has a gross, flaky ceiling. The place is loud: street noise, train, bakery downstairs was playing tunes at 6am but we brought ear plugs based on other reviews and had no issues.Furniture was decent. Fridge was spotless. Great to have free parking. Place for dog to pee just down a short flight of stairs. We would definitely stay again. Just set your expectations.
