Great house for a large family

We came with grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins. The house was perfect for our large group. The owners very hospitable and the location super convenient and close to everything beachwalk has to offer. We would definitely stay again!

Great spot for families

Tons of places to sleep, grill, and across the street from the pool. This was perfect for our two families and kids. House is just perfect for sharing space. Hope to come back next year.

Charming home

This was the perfect place for our family getaway. The layout is perfect for multiple families, branches of families or a gathering of friends. Ample places to congregate plus plenty of places to enjoy some peace and quiet too. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Great Place to Stay

The amenities at Beachwalk are GREAT for families. There is something for all age groups. The hosts were very responsive and available both before and during our stay. Corner Shop Hope had all the things our family needed for a great stay. We REALLY liked the porch - and had our morning coffee there each day. This would be a place we would recommend to anyone!

The best yet

We have stayed at Beachwalk several times and this house was the best yet. Location was great, it was wonderfully well stocked, very clean and the owners were great to work with. It was a great property for 10 people. Very comfortable.

Perfect location in Beachwalk

Plenty of hi-end pots and pans and all cooking necessities. Great main floor (screened in) and second floor decks with cast iron table and chairs on both and plenty of chairs. Each bedroom was impeccably decorated. Plenty of space to spread out. Perfect location in Beachwalk.

Front porch sitting

We absolutely loved our stay at Corner Shop Hope. Comfortable beds for all - and great set up to accommodate our family with ages from 3 to 87. Sitting and dining on the large, screened in front porch, was so relaxing and enjoyable for all, especially the great grandparents. Perfect location to enjoy the resort amenities (right across the street).

Story Time

It was very comfortable, very clean and extremely well equipped. Plus very accommodating hosts. Everyone loved it. The location was close to every thing too. I would strongly recommend it to my friends ( VCBR needs to make their map more accurate as to where it is located in the resort.)

Beach walk 2024

Property was ideally located. Great screened porch for the little kids . House was well equipped for a big group. Jill was great and helpful with fire pit wood and igniter. We are talking about returning next year.

Lake Michigan Vacation

Loved this home away from home, plenty room for our 3 generation family of 10. There was absolutely everything we could have wanted, and hosts Jill & Rich were exceptional. Loved the screened porch and set up of the house. Cousin time with lots of smiles. Grilling out, games, beach, pool, ping pong, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing, something for everyone. We didn’t want to leave!

Corner Shop Hope - June 2025

Great location, comfortable home with good amenities available through and with Beachwalk Community. Booking was flexible and convenient for our needs. Description online is accurate and host was communicative and responsive. Only challenge and aggravation with our stay was renting a Golfcart through 3rd party off-site provider, Lancam. Certainly not cheap and rental process was cumbersome, slow and error-prone.

Great start to summer!

Great home for multi generation family, spacious and well appointed. Cousins loved being together, parents got to relax, and grandparents loved watching everyone have a good time. The beach was a magnet, especially for the teenagers. Our second year at Corner House Hope did not disappoint! A great way to start the summer!

Great Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Corner Shop Hope. The 6 bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own sleeping area. We spent alot of time on the screened front porch. The proximity to beach, pool and park was a great perk. Kitchen was stocked with every dish, glass, pan, utensil that anyone could imagine needing, and all were in great shape. The gas grill is large and we made good use of it. Jill and Rich are right next door, so are available for anything that is needed. All in all, wonderful.

Exceptional place for a family vacation

Corner Shop Hope was above and beyond our expectations. It was very clean and well-stocked with all types of pans and cooking utensils. The screen porch was fantastic and there were balconies with seating available on the upper floors. The dining table was huge and there were extra chairs if needed. We easily fed a group of twelve at the same time. The location couldn’t have been better—directly across from the pool and other amenities. Jill came and introduced herself then let us know how to contact her if needed. This was the perfect place for our entire family to get together. I would highly recommend Corner Shop Hope!

Return to Corner Shop Hope

We have stayed at this property a good number of times now because it meets our needs, is in a good location and the owners are easy to deal with. This is one of the few properties at Beachwalk that is suitable for someone in a wheelchair - with a ramp to the front door and a decent sized master bedroom on the first floor. If you need a shower chair, plan to bring your own. We (and our young grandkids) love the screened in porch. Corner Shop Hope is right across from the pool which is a plus for our family. And, anyone heading to or from the beach has to pass right by, so we see our extended family members as well. Very comfortable and pleasant. We hope to be back!

So Fun

Great location only a short 2 block walk to the beach. The pool was right across the street. Jill and Rich were great hosts. We found the place stocked with all the comforts of home. House was beautiful and accommodating for all our guests. We hope to be back soon. Would highly recommend!! Had a great time.

Great Hospitality and lovely property

The property is clean and well maintained, it is an exceptional location, it accommodates large groups with room to spread out, and the owners are helpful and available when needed. We were in the area for a family member’s wedding and this home made the event even more enjoyable.

Summer Memories for a Lifetime!

We had a big group of 10 adults and 3 small kids that took our summer vaca here. It was idyllic! Better than we ever anticipated. The pool is outside the front of the house and Lake Michigan is at the end of the road that the house is on. The community is so fun with little performances and movies happening in the courtyard behind the property. The house was even better than the pictures and the house had everything we needed (and more for the kiddos)! Jill and Rich were accommodating hosts that made us feel at home. Hoping to book again next summer!

Corner Shop Hope Stay

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion week at Beach Walk. Corner Shop Hope is located in a great spot across from the pool, right along the main drag where our other family members will pass on the way to the beach, pool or our other houses. It works great for our family - We especially made use of the screened in porch this time with our grandson who kept asking to go out there. He will definitely miss the piano in the kitchen! We have been there at least three times now, so, in many ways, it feels like home!

Perfect family getaway

Jill and Rich are amazing hosts. The house is very spacious and ideal for families. It’s also stocked with plenty of beach essentials (chairs, cooler, umbrellas, beach wagon). Location can’t be beat. The neighborhood has tons to offer for the kids (pool, lake, parks). Zero complaints, we will definitely be back.
