We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again!

It is a tremendous, beautiful home which is very well maintained and equipped with everything you may need to enjoy Hawaii. The pool is great and became the center of activities with our young grandchildren. The living area is directly off of the kitchen and very comfortable. The bedrooms are great as well with only two of the seven sharing a bathroom. And the kitchen is phenomenal, stocked with most cooking equipment you could want. The owners, Julie and Alan, are extremely helpful, available and accommodating.

A private resort stay with plenty of room for our family reunion! We enjoyed the stay and the lanai pool area. The kitchen was well stocked with place settings and great artistic dining table where we enjoyed dinners with the family. The neighborhood is secure and it is nice to be able to play our playlists without worrying about neighbors as the backyard is somewhat isolated with no immediate neighbors. The hosts were 5 star at check in and stopped by with desserts from a well known bakery, delish. All in all a 5 star stay.

Wow! We selected this property for a 3 (18) generation family vacation. This property was perfect for our family. The home is well designed and virtually every amenity you could desire. The kitchen is great and some of the grandkids even tried their hand at some cooking. Pool is great and kept everyone happy. There are many different spaces and everyone was comfortable. Hosts were great to deal with and seemed to genuinely care about our comfort and pleasure. Best trip ever

We brought our whole family - 15 in all - to the Blue Lagoon property for 8 nights in late June. It was by far the best vacation rental experience we have ever had. The house is magnificent and perfect for a large group. It's modern, high-end, in great shape, and beautifully furnished and decorated. The owners, Julie and Alan, are terrific - really nice people who provided a number of extras for the kids and for us, and were extremely responsive and very gracious. The house is well-stocked and includes beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, a golf cart and pool accessories. The huge kitchen is perfect for entertaining and preparing meals. The movie theater was enjoyed by all, especially the kids. The pool/hot tub was great. Actually, it was all great! Kudos and mahalo to Julie and Alan.

We have rented many vacation homes and this was the best by far with plenty of room for a large group, private spaces, and absolutely LOVELY furnishings. No detail was missed to make the house comfortable. The hosts are delightful and diligent.

It was great. House with the pool was perfect for our family of 13. Julie and Alan were perfect hosts doing extras for us before and after we were there.

We’ve stayed in dozens of homes, but Julie and Alan have set a new high bar. The pantry was stocked with a lot of items, and they surprised us with two gifts throughout the stay. To top it off, they were always available and fast to respond. As far as the home goes:- The kitchen is massive and luckily they have done a great job labeling the drawers and cabinets so you can find your way around. A wonderfully equipped coffee bar that we enjoyed too much. - The pool was comfortably warm while we were there and the hot heats up very fast which is always a big plus. One thing that would be nice is if the room AC could be set to 68, as the current limit of 70 is a bit too warm for me. - The grill was spotless and easy to use. The ice maker in the bar did trip the GFCI a few times, but Alan showed me how to reset it. - We didn’t even notice the fully equipped garage for beach items, but it was great to have everything we would need for our adventures. Our kids enjoyed all of the toys and floaters. Having stay here, it’s clear to see why this place has earned its 5 star rating.

Our family of three generations travelled for an anniversary and were not disappointed with the Blue Lagoon in any respect. Pool was used nonstop. We also used the association private beach as well as a few public beaches in the area. Snorkeling, manta rays, many activities to keep all ages busy. Plenty of food choices including a luau just down the road. Toured the whole island, including the volcano. Thank you our hosts Julie and Alan!!

Blue Lagoon Paradise

We traveled to the Big Island with family and friends to celebrate a very special family birthday, and staying here made it even more special. Paul and Wendee were great to work with—prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful from the planning stages through our stay. I highly recommend this property to everyone. Wonderful Family Reunion

We had an awesome week with our 5 grown kids and grandkids who came from NY, WA and UT. The house was great for our group....wonderful big kitchen that had everything you needed, big bedrooms where Julie added extra cots for kids, the home theater where we watched sports/movies at night, a great pool where we all swam every day, golf cart for getting around. Perfect location for golf, beach, snorkeling, grocery store and shops!! Best family vacation ever!!!

Perfect Family Getaway

This place is exactly as it appears in the photos. Kitchen is huge for congregating, pool and spa are both great. Paul and Wendee were very easily reached and communicated timely and clear directions. The whole family had there own space and it worked well.

Blue Lagoon Perfection

Our stay at the Blue Lagoon was perfect from check in to check out. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. The house was gorgeous and impeccably clean with plenty of space for our large group. Pool/spa temperatures at some VRBOs can be disappointing, but not at the Blue Lagoon. The pool was just the right temperature and the spa was warm and relaxing in the evenings. We cannot say enough good things about the hosts and the home! Highly recommend.

Blue Lagoon

We stayed at the Blue Lagoon in May 2023. We were there to celebrate four milestone birthdays with family. The house was the perfect location for our gathering. We particularly loved the large kitchen and dining area - perfect for hanging out. The theater room is also a plus. The property manager was extremely responsive and easy to deal with. It's a wonderful place - I would recommend it highly.

Couldn't be more perfect!

We came from boston and rented this property so we could have all our children and grandchildren in one place to bring my brothers remain back to hawaii for interment. This property was the perfect place to hold the celebration of life for all his friends and former employees from hawaii. Everything about the property was as advertised!! If you're looking for a beautiful place to have your entire family then this is it!

Family Reunion Extraordinaire

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Lagoon! It was the ideal setting for our family reunion including three generations (ages 5-70). The kitchen is well stocked and well suited for a large meal. The floor plan provided a nice balance of privacy and community (with fabulous common spaces including the amazing pool area). We already miss feeding the koi! It exceeded our expectations.
