Backing to US Forest Service land, this mountain home has beautiful views of the surrounding woods. You'll also have a fenced-in landscaped yard, large deck , and private hot tub to enjoy the wooded views... and you can hear the babbling brook running by outside! Accommodating up to 10 people, and two large living areas, this remodeled house is filled with log cabin furnishings, offering the perfect setting for a family Tahoe getaway.

The living room is perfect for gathering with a breakfast bar, comfortable seating, and a 65" Smart TV. The kitchen is every cook's dream with tile countertops, large gas Thermador range, and plenty of space for cooking for your group. The dining table can comfortably seat 10, and the breakfast bar has 4 barstools.

The master bedroom has an unbelievable bathroom with Jacuzzi jetted tub and multi-function body jet shower. The rest of the house has 3 more bedrooms and bathrooms. You'll also find that the home is kid friendly and offers a high chair and pack n' play. The downstairs family room provides access to the private hot tub, a gorgeous wet bar, foosball table and another big screen TV!

Great space for dog friendly family fun!

The property was exactly as advertised - clean, well stocked, and family/dog friendly. The yard was well maintained and fully fenced, and the view of the woods from the master bedroom was a beautiful thing to wake up to! This property provided a wonderful “base camp” for our summer family vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a pretty nice cabin in a very peaceful setting, however there are a number of shortcomings that make it difficult to give it a good review. Upon entering the cabin my son and I were greeted with cobwebs across the face. Looking into the dining room, there was a 3 legged chair propped in the corner (the fourth leg on the seat). The blinds above the kitchen sink are absolutely filthy and should be replaced. The cabin was woefully short of necessary supplies- no extra toilet paper (some bathrooms had less than a full roll), 1/2 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, no sponge at kitchen sink and about 1” of dish soap in the bottom of the bottle. I texted the property manager at the number provided but NEVER heard back. The yard was overgrown and in need of clean up (trimming, downed branches, etc). This was noted in a previous review. Also noted in a prior review was the loose flagstone in the front walkway. The living area and bedrooms were all nice and well furnished though the bed in the master bedroom was very hard and difficult to sleep on. I also messaged the property management through the portal prior to leaving and never heard from them. With a little bit of effort this could be a very nice vacation rental. While I wouldn’t cross it off my list of places to stay, I’ll probably look closely at others before returning.

Enjoyed the deck with gas firepit and hot tub was clean & towels provided.A few minor issues - master shower was being repaired when we arrived, master bedroom ceiling fan did not work however portable fan was provided & much needed upstairs. Also we had local electric company working on power lines at rear of property during our 5 night stay so not so great esp when they shut power off the morning of check out. Would stay again at Sundown with close access to beach & hiking!

All my family and I loved the house really nice place with a lot of space for a big family , I would really recommend this house for everyone who was a big family there is a lot to do even though you don’t want to go out , the play room and the jacuzzi made our days . All my family is so happy we had the chance to stay there for Christmas it was the best vacations ♥️

Great time in a perfect property

Came here with four couples to celebrate a milestone birthday. Kitchen was more than well stocked, very comfortable living area and beds, enjoyed the gas fireplace every night as well as the spa. Quiet neighborhood and super close to casinos and the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

Pros: Great property in a quiet residential location. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, which was perfect for our family. Fun basement game room. Peaceful deck was perfect for morning coffee. Fully equipped kitchen was great! Plenty of blankets and pillows. Large tv was great for watching baseball and movies. Huge table perfect for our family. Cons: Couldn’t lock front door from outside. Dogs could easily dig under side gate to escape so we created a makeshift blockade. Something more secure is needed. Handle to hot water on upstairs bathroom right hand sink wasn’t attached so we could only get hot water from one sink in master bathroom. Flagstones in front path are loose and breaking. Unsure how to communicate checkin and checkout. We just followed the directions posted in the kitchen.

Great House in Great Tahoe Neighborhood

Stayed here with 4 of my friends for our annual "old guys getaway". We were quite pleased upon check in to find that the property manager had turned on the heat and had mellow music playing - nice touches that created a very welcoming feeling. The house is in a great neighborhood on the Nevada side, only a few miles from the casinos. Very good restaurant options on Kingsbury Grade within a few minute drive of the house. The house is well appointed with a well supplied kitchen. Nice appliances and everything worked fine. A representative of the property management company reached out to me by text on the day of arrival, which was nice as it provided me with an easy way to contact them if needed. Overall great stay and we will definitely look forward to staying again in the future.

Good location to Heavenly

Stayed with 10 people comfortably although one bed was a sofa bed. The house is pretty large for everyone so we were fairly comfortable. We were within 15 min drive from all of the heavenly base camps which made it easy to drive up and ski.

Great Value

Great property for a small group of friends or a couple families. Fairly well equipped. Close enough to stateline and the lake but secluded. The property could benefit from some updated cookware and there seemed to be a lack of towels.

Wonderful Experience for the Family

We had a great experience! The property was clean, had plenty of space for the whole family with a wide age range, offered many conveniences, and the location was perfect. The teens loved the hot tub and game room/basement. My husband and I loved the master suite. The backyard was the perfect size and fenced so we didn’t worry about our dogs escaping or being in danger. We will definitely be staying again and are already booking next summer!

Great spot

While the overall place was great, lots of maintenance and updating are needed. The gates on the decks need work and locks, the old plywood kitchen drawers need work. The super nice upstairs shower didn't have any pressure and the hot/cold is mislabeled. The downstairs game room and hot tub were awesome.
