Beautiful property in an idyllic location. Hosts where wonderful and welcoming. Great location for discovering new parts of France and within reach of Paris. Children had a great time just relaxing in the grounds and exploring the local area. Will be coming again.. five star all round

The property was perfect for us—grandparents and our daughter’s family including a toddler. They have their own playground and a closet full of more toys than many preschools. The host brought over eggs one morning and another morning his wife brought us some “Belgian vitamins”- that is chocolates. Both the host and his wife were nice to chat with. We cooked one night and th kitchen had everything we needed. They had a neat French press for coffee as well. Check in and check out were easy. We made good use of their washer/dryer.

Fantastic get away from it all

This is a really great property and I’m not sure the pictures do it justice. It is a 15 min drive from the nearest town/village of Provins which has a supermarket and is a direct train link to central Paris. It is in zone 5 which means you can buy a Mobilis ticket which gives you unlimited travel for the day through out Paris. It is a beautiful quiet rural location with a lovely walk around the lake just meters away. Alain looks after the property, lives just over the road and was fantastic. Thank you for a really great holiday x

Heerlijke week

Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in het vakantiehuis. Het huis ligt op een mooie rustige plek met een meertje op loopafstand. De eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij en willen je graag helpen. Erg aardige mensen. Wij hebben zelfs verse eieren gekregen en zelfgemaakte soep. Het plaatsje oude stadje Provins is echt het bezoeken waard en Disneyland Parijs is op 50 minuten rijden ook goed te doen.

Hele leuke eigenaars die steeds klaarstaan voor de huurders. Provins is een zeer leuke stad om te bezoeken en veel dingen om te doen in de buurt.

Séjour bucolique et historique

Maison très agréable et adaptée pour des vacances en famille, avec un jardin "sans limite" comme l'ont apprécié les enfants :) La proximité de Provins nous a permis d'alterner promenades et visites historiques. Merci beaucoup à nos hôtes, très accueillants, flexibles et agréables.

Unser Lieblingsquartier

Perfekt saniertes, hübsches altes Haus, dahinter wunderschöner privater Rosengarten mit der Rose der sehr nah gelegenen Stadt Provins und ein großer See mit vielen niedlichen Entenfamilien. Die Vermieter wohnen in der Nähe, waren immer ansprechbereit (Kommunikation auf Englisch hat hervorragend funktioniert), haben aber nie gedrängelt und waren immer sehr (gast-) freundlich. Perfekte Ausgangslage für Ausflüge in der Champagne (Fontainebleau, Provins, ...). Es ist sehr geräumig, sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es gibt eine sehr große, tolle neue Küche. Wenn ein Quartier sein Geld wert sein sollte, dann dieses. Die Bettwäscje würde bereitgestellt und hat himmlisch geduftet. Es war großartig hier!!! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Wir freuen uns schon darauf wieder hier her zu fahren.

Gite très agréable avec tout le nécessaire. L'environnement est calme et quel plaisir de profiter du jardin, de la balade autour du point d'eau...bref un petit paradis. Les hôtes sont aussi parfaits. De belles vacances en famille

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment chez Michèle et Alain, l'accueil était très chaleureux et souriant. Le cottage avec tout le nécessaire (jeux pour enfant, literie, cuisine…) pour un séjour tranquille et d'une propreté appréciable. Beaucoup d'activités disponibles sur un grand espace (jardins et étang). Notre fille de 5ans a adoré passer des moments avec les poules et les chats ainsi que les moments passé avec nos hôtes. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour tout ca . A retenir pour de futures vacances.

Nice spacious house, perfect base to visit both Paris and Champagne area

The house exceeded our expectations, it was much more spacious than we thought. The kitchen was fully equipped, for example there even was a dryer. The area was very quiet, the garden quite large. There were plenty of toys for the children to play with. Every morning we were awakened by one of the roosters from the surrounding houses; the very friendly owners of our house regularly gave us fresh eggs from their hens.

After living in several countries, my French husband and I (American) returned to the home his family has lived in for several generations. The cottages are in the same hamlet, so we can provide advice on what to do in the region or in Paris. We are friendly hosts.

Après avoir vécu dans plusieurs pays, mon mari français et moi (américaine) sommes revenus dans la maison que sa famille habite depuis plusieurs générations. Les gîtes se trouvent dans le même hameau, nous pouvons donc vous donner des conseils sur ce qu'il y a à faire dans la région ou à Paris. Nous aimons échanger avec vous.

Dopo aver vissuto in diversi paesi, io (americana) e mio marito francese siamo tornati nella casa in cui la sua famiglia ha vissuto per diverse generazioni. I cottage si trovano nella stessa frazione, quindi possiamo dare consigli su cosa fare nella regione o a Parigi.
Ci piace parlare con i nostri ospiti.

Mon mari a grandi dans ce hameau, suivant les traces de son père, de son grand-père et avant lui. La région de la Brie est magnifique ; c'est l'un des "greniers à blé" de la France, avec ses vastes champs de blé, de maïs, d'orge...

Mio marito è cresciuto in questo borgo, seguendo le orme del padre, del nonno e prima ancora. La regione di Brie è bellissima; uno dei "panieri" della Francia con i suoi vasti campi di grano, mais, orzo...

In a well kept park with a lake. View on the garden and the private lake. The house is only an hour from Paris (by train to avoid driving) and Disneyland. It is also the perfect and quiet spot to discover the "Champagne road" (little villages, good restaurants, caves), many castles (Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, La Motte Tilly), la Roseraie in Provins...

Dans un parc bien entretenu avec un lac. Vue sur le jardin et le lac privé. La maison est à seulement une heure de Paris (en train pour éviter de conduire) et de Disneyland. C'est aussi l'endroit parfait et tranquille pour découvrir la "route du Champagne" (petits villages, bons restaurants, grottes), de nombreux châteaux (Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, La Motte Tilly), la Roseraie à Provins...

In un parco ben curato con lago. Vista sul giardino e sul lago privato. La casa si trova a un'ora da Parigi (in treno per evitare di guidare) e da Disneyland.
