Great Month

We so enjoyed our stay at Galina's! It is spacious, and the pool and spa are heavenly. We loved the location of the home. It was great for our morning walks. We also grilled a couple of meals - the grill worked great. We hated to leave!

The pool and jacuzzi were perfect. Lots of space if you have a large group. Galina was very helpful.

Perfect family getaway

Location was perfect for our family and friend winter getaway. Backyard and pool/spa were enjoyed by all and used most days. Main living areas and bedrooms were comfortable and house and grounds were very clean. Beautiful views from the backyard. Close to El Paseo, golf courses, grocery stores, hiking, parks and the Living Desert Zoo. Highly recommend.

Great Value and Classic California Desert Home

We enjoyed our stay greatly as this is a somewhat updated 60’s modern California Desert House. We spent most of our time outside or in the pool as this house lends itself to outdoor living. The location is good as you can get to restaurants and shopping with a 5 minute drive.

Family vacation

Our family stayed here for 5 days & had a great time. House is set up perfectly for 3 families with very large bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. The pool was perfect & heated before we arrived so the kids could swim as soon as we arrived. Backyard is beautiful & private. Location of home was close to shopping, restaurants & hiking yet in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was easy to work with & answered questions promptly. Would definitely stay at this home again.

Enjoyable Month Long Stay

This was our first time staying for a month at a VRBO. Our host was gracious and responsive if we needed her. The home was spacious and comfortable, though it could use some updating. The neighborhood is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay and were able to share our experience with family and friends as the house lends itself to that. We would come back.

Exceeded Expectations!

Our first time renting for a month in Palm Desert turned out to be a dream come true. Large home with plenty of space to spread out. The backyard with pool and hot tub were used daily. Imagine sitting in the hot tub, chatting with friends, all while looking at the snowcapped mountains. Incredible! And Galina was just a text away and always responded promptly. Everything you need is a short drive. I never tired of the amazing mountain and valley views coming down the hill to town. Would absolutely come back!

lots of privacy

The house is very big and spacious. I was concerned about the privacy since there is neighbors on both sides but we didn't even notice them there because the entire home has trees covering the walls so you can't see the neighbors which made it feel very private. The house is so much better in person and everything was clean. There was everything you needed spices, pots, pans, towels, washing machine and dryer. The owner is very responsive to any questions you have. It was very close to dining shopping etc.

Awesome desert oasis, perfect for families with kids and pets

The house was perfect for our family. Lots and lots of space for our 2 dogs to roam free. The pool was clean and refreshing. There were plenty of towels, pool toys and lounge chairs to go around. There is a nice big BBQ on the back patio overlooking the pool. They have lots of patio furniture if you want to eat or lounge on the patio. The side yard and front yard feel like a park with grass and fruit trees. The home is completely private and secure and our pets could wander freely from the front yard to the backyard without any issues. We could all relax and have a totally good experience. The house inside is very spacious with plenty of amenities to satisfy everyone. There were flatscreen TV's in all the bedrooms plus a nice large flatscreen TV and entertainment center in the den. The owner provides free wifi for their guests. Having pets, it was very nice having tile or wood floors throughout most of the home. Everything was clean and well stocked. The location is very close to El Paseo which means lots of shopping and good restaurants close by. I cannot find anything to complain about. I highly recommend this home to other families who want to visit Palm Desert.

Perfect; well stocked, great feeling, clean, wonderful space for large groups, great neighborhood

My family, consisting of three couples, stayed in this home for a week while attending our niece's wedding. The house could not have been more perfect for the six of us. It also served well for the family from around the world who visited during the day to swim in the pool and eat at both the inside and outside table. The house received the highest accolades from everyone, with everyone wanting to return to stay here on any future trip. The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining (both inside and out, accessible through multiple sliding glass doors) and living room provides ample space, all visually accessible from any vantage point inside or out, thereby inclusive, also provides multiple intimate spaces for private conversation; a feature only a perfectly defined space can provide. The large counter between the kitchen and dining was filled with food all day every day, yet still provided ample room of for cooking and preparation in the well stocked kitchen. I almost booked another house which looked nice in pictures and was comparably priced, but went first to google maps street view and compared surrounding neighborhoods; there was no comparison. Galina's beautiful house is in a private, safe and upscale neighborhood which is easy to access and not far from a Whole Foods market with an excellent selection of fresh bread, cheeses, fruit and vegetables. The house is immaculate, divided into two halves, each with its own air conditioning system. The master bed and bath is a mansion unto itself, with dual shower-heads and a large comfortable king size bed. The second bedroom in that half of the house is ample. Both rooms open onto a private lawn with citrus and other trees, surrounded by a high wall providing complete privacy. Our Swedish family spent all day around the pool capturing the sun they will not get at home for many months. Again, ample and well stocked with more than enough lounge chairs for all and pool floats for adults and children. There even is a unique private child's pool unlike any I have seen before. Between the pool and the house is a long patio with a gas grill, a dining table we were able to get 10 people around and a private area at the end with a three piece set of couches that worked perfectly for morning and evening meditations. Clean and well maintained. Well priced and well stocked in a wonderful neighborhood. We all will return to this property if given the chance.

Pluses and minuses

We recently spent one month at this property. Many pluses: gorgeous pool and spa with lovely water temperature, great seating area on the patio, very large rooms and comfortable beds, AC and heating worked well, totally fenced (lawn area perfect for dog), delicious juice from fruit trees every morning, quiet street close to a community park and also a giant dog park (20 min. walk). Some minuses: this home is described as being a luxury property, resort like, professionally decorated with a state of the art kitchen. We found it to be in need of some TLC as the furnishings were tired and worn, paint was chipped, drawers and cupboards in the kitchen were cluttered and overflowing with too much stuff and the kitchen lighting was terrible. The biggest problem for us was that the fridge stopped working the first week, which was very stressful. We were given two small bar fridges to use as repairs could not be done for several weeks. Luckily, several days later, a friend of the owner came through with a new fridge and installed it. Although Galina was quick to answer text messages she refused our request for any financial compensation, instead offering a few free days if we stayed again. In spite of all the great things about this property I would not book it again.

Fantastic location and communication

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the desert. The yard, pool and house exceeded our expectations. We loved the location because of being so close to the mountains we rarely felt the heavy winds that can be problematic in the Coachella Valley. Galina was extremely responsive to us and we wanted to book again for next year but it has already been booked. Great neighborhood!

Nice comfortable home away from home!

Great location. Nice and roomy. Pool was beautiful. House could use a little TLC. It was equipped, but a little too much clutter for me. Galina was a great host that responded with anything we needed. She was very sweet. We had a great time in the pool. AC worked really well too, and in the heat in July that was appreciated. We loved walking the beautiful neighborhood and close Ironwood Park.

Perfect House and Excellent Location

Galina was very attentive and the house was perfect for my family of 4- although it could easily handle more people. We were there for thanksgiving with the extended family which happened literally around the corner, so perfect location in that way but even better when we realized we were within a mile to great hikes. The pool didn’t get any use due to unseasonably cold weather, but the spa was lovely.

Great 45th!

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood just blocks away from El Paseo. Galina is fabulous and attentive to any of your needs. We had a fabulous 45th anniversary vacation just lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful surroundings and abundant fruit trees. Thank you Galina!!!

Honestly this house is amazing! It has everything you need to have an amazing vacation. We loved the pool and the space of the house. We couldn’t ask for anything better. We had an amazing time. You don’t need anything she has everything you should ever need.

The house looks exactly like it does on the site very clean comes complete with everything you should ever need for a getaway all you have to do is bring your toothbrush . My family enjoyed it and the owner is very nice I would definitely rent this place again .

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home. This home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to stay again. The owner is a delight and very accommodating.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The house is unique by it's privacy being located behind a private gate, huge green loans, very open floor plan, lots of
floor to celling glass doors that lets plenty of natural light.
2 master suits that located on East and West side of the house, plus a 3 rd bedroom with in suit bathroom and a family room/4th bedroom sleeps 2.
Each room has a TV's.
