The unfortunate timing of the broken central AC system is being remedied in a weeks' time--parts shipping to Hawai'i is very unreliable and slow. Aloha, We are so happy that you loved our location, accommodation, and all our amazing amenties--the parking is especially a huge offer, which we are aware that you took advantage of by leaving your car in the reserved parking space when you checked out hours late. I'm very disappointed that you felt that the cabinets and items inside were not clean. We in fact had just recently had an intensive pest control service, where they came in and removed everything from every cabinet, cleaned every item, and even replaced all the shelf and drawer liners. I know being a Mom of a new baby does make us way more aware of our surroundings, and bugs can get into an outdoor pool for sure. That could have been easily handled by the site manager skimming the pool with the net, if you had said anything to any of us at any time! With all the communications you had with our on-island management team, you did not bring up any of these issues and give them an opportunity to help, as they would have happily run over to do so. They were very surprised to hear you were displeased, and afterwards didn't mention to the host all the extra cleaning of rings on the glass and the KOA counter top which concerned them-- until hearing of your displeasure. We were all just happy with the thought of you enjoying your vacation with your baby girl, as none of these things were mentioned.
