Tammy is an excellent host. She answered questions quickly and went above and beyond on a request re a coffee grinder. We thought there was one there, but there wasn't. After asking, she immediately said she'd pay for one if I would pick one up at Walmart. I did and she reimbursed me promptly. That's service! The property is beautiful. we arrived in 30 degree weather and the beach is across the street. Lots of fans in the rooms to cool them down. Then being Alberta the weather changed and it was windy and cold . The living room fireplace was well stocked with kindling and wood, and we really enjoyed it.Two bedrooms upstairs and 2 bathrooms, one bedroom w bunk bed main floor and lovely bedroom bathroom in basement. My one sister used the sofa bed downstairs and found it very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, coffee/tea station ( now w a coffee grinder too!) Fridge was different as no shelving available in the door, it was lovely to have another fridge in the basement, for drinks and overflow items. We'd love to come back . Its 20-30 min walk along the shore to downtown. Cheers

Thanks to your suggestion, all of our future guests will now have access to a coffee grinder. 😊 You certainly got the full Alberta weather experience, didn't you? What a wild mix of conditions! I'm not entirely sure what happened to the refrigerator door shelves over the past season, but strangely enough, it will be less expensive to replace the entire fridge than to purchase a few replacement shelves, which is absolutely bananas! It's definitely on our list of upcoming improvements. Thank you again for being such wonderful guests. We truly appreciate your kindness and feedback, and we hope to welcome you back again someday. Great place - nice location across from beach!

This is a very nice place - right across from a very busy beach always lots to see! Comfy beds and lots of kitchen amenities! Host was excellent - always quick to respond and answer any questions!

Nice lake house directly across from a quiet beach. Stayed with our family of five plus the in-laws. Nice amenities and had everything we needed.

The property was located at a perfect spot for kids playing. There were lots of towels available, would not need to bring any extra towels. Tammy was also very responsive host.

This property is just a wonderful place to relax with family and enjoy the lake view with its breathtaking sunsets. It has enough room to accommodate everyone, a spacious deck for relaxing and is mere steps away from the lake.

Lyle’s Sylvan Lake

The house is in an excellent location right across the road from the beach. It’s an excellent spot for small children as the water is very shallow. Close 5 minute drive to restaurants and other attractions.

Family Gathering

We rented this property to stay at during a family wedding that was being held locally. It was the perfect size for our group. The multiple bedroom spaces, the outdoor space and location was perfect for the whole family. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Absolutely amazing property with superb location with beach across the street and so well equipped

We have nothing but good to say about our stay at this property in Sylvan Lake. It was everything as shown in the photos. Checking in was flawless and we were thrilled with all the amenities. We would love to return to this piece of paradise.

Perfect Vacation on the Lake

We had a fabulous vacation in Sylvan Lake. The host was fantastic and very responsive and accommodating. What a perfect location and the home was wonderfully set up for a large family or for a large group. The two Kitchens were well stocked and we enjoyed the ability to feel like we were at home away from home. Very pleased with the detail and all the extras in This Home.

Great Location Beautiful View

Excellent spot for families right across the street from a clean sandy beach. The house was well equipped and has lots of space. The host Tammy was quick to respond with any questions or requests that we had. We would definitely come back.

Sylvan Lake beachfront stay

Awesome home to gather with family and friends and enjoy time together by the lake. Lots of space, comfortable, home away from home. Patio overlooking lake makes for beautiful views, day and night. Love the sunsets. Our family will be back. Owner is quick to respond and helpful, and makes sure you enjoy your stay.

Great location but in of upkeep inside and out. Adequate supply of blankets, utensils. Seating for dining was inadequate. Fridge shelves from the door. Coffee making machines were great.Parking was a pain, being limited to four vehicles when advertising room for 17 people.

Absolutely perfect accommodations!

We very much enjoyed staying at the house at Jarvis Bay! The view of the lake is stunning and access to the beach is just across the street. Easy for carrying the paddleboard and chairs to sit and enjoy! We have already booked for 2021 as we wanted to make sure we could stay again! My entire family LOVES it! That says it all!!

We enjoyed our 3rd stay for a week this time. It is a fabulous location and spacious home. It would be nice to have air conditioning but thankfully a few evenings cooled down because of late evening rain.

Unfortuantely, because the home is a West Coast Contempory design, it was built with in floor heating in order to take advantage of the vaulted ceilings and multiple floors. We do not have ducting for a regular AC unit, however, we have been in the queue for a new minisplit syatem since last fall. We hope to be able to have that installed by next year!! Family gathering

We had a most amazing time staying at this beautiful property!! It exceeded expectations in every way! The house is very well equipped; everything from all you would dream of in the kitchen to chairs for around the fire pit. Tammy was very helpful answering all of my many questions ahead of time.

Awesome Birthday Celebration

This was our second stay here, and everything was perfect. Able to accommodate our whole family. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Just a perfect week right in front of the beach for easy access. So close to beach, easy to walk back and forth to house for any needs. Highly recommend for some down time, and just relaxing.

Awesome waterfront property! Comfy & spacious. Immaculately clean & proudly cared for. Check-in was a breeze and host is available during stay. Best stocked chef's kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, platters, fruit juicer!, electric griddle, clean bbq, etc) we've ever vrbo'd. Closet FULL of extra towels, linens, etc and TONS of firewood. And the sandy beach - direct view and access - stunning sunsets. Located on peaceful Jarvis Bay, a stroll away from the hubbub of the 'main' beach, if you enjoy a more vibrant nightlife. Really can't say enough! Excellent property for families/larger groups. Will def return!
