Welcome to Prairie Oasis, a spacious retreat offering 6 unique bedrooms, each with queen beds, and a luxurious master loft featuring a memory foam king mattress, a private coffee station, and an en suite bathroom with a sliding barn door. Perfect for large groups, this home comfortably sleeps 16+ guests. Enjoy the sunshine with a BBQ on the patio, or unwind around the fireplace at night. Plus, it's less than a 5-minute walk to the beach for added fun and relaxation!

The entire space is yours to use.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is tucked right outside of downtown Sylvan Lake. It’s within walking distance of the beach and Lake Shore Drive. (Less than a 5 minute walk)

Getting Around:
Everything is within walking distance at this location, however we do provide space for your vehicle/s if you need them. There is room to park 1 or 2 vehicles on the driveway and there is free street parking a short walk away or paid street parking on the street. Paid for street parking is also free outside of the Summer months.

Other Things to Note:
• Please make sure to read and explore your Boarding Pass for detailed check-in ( and check out ) instructions and other information you need during and after your stay.

• It has stairs!

We understand that accidents can happen during your stay, and we want to ensure that both you and the property are protected.
For your peace of mind, we offer two options:
1) Non-refundable Damage Waiver: For a small fee, this waiver covers accidental damages (up to $250) during your stay.
2) Refundable Safety Deposit: A credit card hold, that will be refunded upon a successful property inspection after your stay.
These options will be presented to you through our Guest App after booking.

Interaction with Guests:
Just to set proper expectations, our support line is available only until 2 am.
Please let us know your estimated time of arrival or if you expect to arrive after 2am, so we can make the necessary arrangements to assist you.

Ideal location, very clean and great layout allows for larger groups to gather and celebrate. Family friendly, lots of bathrooms, functional and modern kitchen. There is no more central location than this, and Parking is not an issue. Highly recommended!!

Perfect location and great sleeping arrangements

The location was perfect. An easy walk to the beach. We had 8 adults and 3 young kids and everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements. We would rent here again for sure.

The gathering place

This home away from home was lovely. It was clean and loads of space. The lake was nearby and would have been great except that it was a cool, windy weekend, making us all the more grateful that we had a perfect place to shelter, visit, eat and play games. Easy recommendation. Thanks to our hosts

This was a nice place to stay. Communication with the host was fast. Would be lovely in the summer time. Close to the lake and walking paths. Lots of stairs. The loft was beautiful and the bed was cozy. Some of the others on the second level said their beds were a little hard😀

Three day family get away

Perfect location for walking to the lake and downtown. We were a party of six adults and four children. The six bedrooms were fairly large and although the listing shows three bathrooms with no tub, we were pleased to see there was a tub and an extra half bath downstairs. Yes, plenty of stairs but not a deterrent. New levels to explore. The top level/family room is very big and private. The family room was great for lounging. I worried that the kitchen was small but it was just fine. Very nice hosts.

Pairie Oasis Stay

The stay at this home was just fine! We didn’t find the fridge too clean and had 3 days worth of food to load in - we had to clean it first. There was no left over food the fridge shelves/walls were not washed. The coffee take way too long to make. The beds are super comfortable. We found one them with sand in the sheets. The layout of the home is great! We were working and is provided great space for alone time to do that!

This home had a great location for a no driving holiday. Just a block to the beach and much of the town's action.However, the listing doesn't state that it is a duplex, and the space is not as large as the photos suggest, for a place saying it holds 16 guests. The main floor livingroom was small, and removed from the kitchen/dining. You really can only seat 7 people inside, and 7 outside to eat (our group was 14, so we were able to make it work, but it was cozy). The listing says there are 3 bathrooms all with showers. There are indeed 4 bathrooms, but 2 are only half baths, so there are only 2 showers in this home.The check in process had an automated system that as a middle aged person, I had difficulty understanding and navigating, and in that process I was asked to leave an additional amount of money to secure against damages, or a hold on my credit card. This expectation was not disclosed in advance.One bedroom had sheets with bloodstains (I do believe the sheets were cleaned, however stained). The rest of the place was clean and well decorated.We messaged the host app mentioning there was only enough dishwasher detergent for about 2 loads, and the tinfoil was only enough for 2 pans. We were told they only provide a starter amount for these type of amenities. Dishwasher soap should for sure be an included supply imo, or at least mention we are on our own for this, as we would have brought from home(we were thankful we got more than a starter supply of toilet paper!)

Sylvan Lake Conference Accommodations

It was good overall. We were a bit disappointed with the advertising for 16 people. We were 8 adults and two had to room together. Not ideal for colleagues. Fortunately for us we had a mother and daughters employee team so it worked out. But there were only 2 bathrooms with showers which would be a problem if you actually had 16 sleeping there. In all fairness it was booked by someone in our office not myself so they may have been aware of those details.

Comfortable stay in a great location!

We were looking for a location in Central Alberta to house board members coming from all across the province for a training. Prairie Oasis was just the right size and location for us. Very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and a beautiful location. We all spent an enjoyable evening on the deck and then later, upstairs in the living room before heading out in the morning for our training. Communication with the property management was easy and they answered our questions right away. We hope to stay here again.

Prairie Oasis - Sylvan Lake

We had a great stay at Prairie Oasis for a wedding at Sylvan Lake. The house was perfect for us and super comfortable. Some reviews said that the bedrooms are small but we didn’t find this to be the case. We highly recommend this house for a larger group.

Nice home with lots of bedrooms

It is a nice, clean, nicely decorated home. A beautiful, short walk to the lake. I would be aware that the rooms are small; small kitchen, small dining room - only 6 chairs in the whole house. Loft area no longer has chairs, mini fridge or coffee pot.

Zen achievable here

This home has one large screen tv with Netflix, Disney+ and streaming channels, it also has free wifi but it is mostly about getting away from screens. The lake is a short block away! But that block provides better peace and quiet than the properties that look right over lakeshore. Also as parking is limited to 2 cars it helps that there is a large church with ample parking and friendly people who Let us park there hassle and charge free! We had 8 people and a dog and all slept well, ate well, and we enjoyed board games on the one rain day we experienced! We loved it ahhhh inner peace.

Great Family Time in Sylvan Lake

The duplex was very clean and nicely decorated with lots of dishes and a great variety of pots and pans and electrical appliances. A close walk to the beach and to the Big Moo!! Our family of 11 were easily accommodated in the 6 bedrooms. The only down side would be if you are unable to do stairs, as there are lots of those to all the bedrooms. A great place to stay.
