Candi and Yolanda went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and memorable as could be. The food Yolanda prepared, I doubt, could be duplicated down town in the restaurants. My only complaint will be when I step on the scales at home. Anything we were looking for in town, Candi knew where to find it or would pick it up for us. The pool was so refreshing and the kids (and most adults) were in it every day. The cleaning staff kept our rooms very clean and you really never even knew they were around. We would recommend this Casa to anyone looking to just kick back and relax. Thank you Dora and crew for making this a Christmas to remember.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dora and her staff are so welcoming and easy to communicate with. Amazing hosts! The home is perfectly clean and very comfortable. We had breakfast there both days and dinner one night. All were outstanding!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. Candelario and family were amazing hosts, the food they prepared was the best we ate on the trip. Do not hesitate to book this vacation home, it is all you would want and more. We cannot wait to return.

Perfection!

6 couples shared a week at this fabulous home and I have to say it was one of the best vacations of my lifetime! The pictures do not do the property justice. It is amazing. What truly takes it over the top is Candy and his wife Yolanda. Home cooked meals, taking care of us like family, and becoming our friends was something I’ll never forget. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you, thank you, thank you Candy!

Beautiful home with excellent service!

This home is everything you see in the photos and more. We were a group of 4 couples and the layout of the house could not have been more perfect. There is plenty of privacy and yet the common spaces were great to hang out together. We walked most of the town, but you can easily get a cab if the walk is too much. Cande is wonderful and took care of all of our needs. The best dinner I had during our stay was the ahi tuna Yolanda made for us. I highly recommend having her cook for you while you are there. The pool, the view, the service and the location make this a house you will want to visit again and again!

The Best

We were greeted at the airport, shuttled to the house where dinner awaited. Candilario and his family were above perfect. They were kind, friendly and eager to make sure we had everything we needed and/or wanted. We will be coming back to stay again.

An amazing stay!

There were 9 of us and to a person we all loved it!! The house itself is amazing, but Candi and his family go above and beyond! The stocked the house with items we requested so they would be there upon our arrival! Breakfast every morning was sooo good (have her make her spicy salsa it was amazing). It’s a short walk to town and a $4 cab ride up the hill if you don’t want to walk back!

Exceptional Stay in Paradise

Our group of nine adults enjoyed the perfect stay beyond our expectations! The property is large, beyond beautiful, convenient and comfortable. The staff is beyond helpful! Candi and Yolanda provide delicious local cuisine daily and Candi is an expert on making local arrangements tailored to our preferences. Everyday was perfect thanks to Candi’s invaluable help and friendly manner. We left feeling like we’d made new friends and had the best vacation ever!

An amazing, full-service jewel of a place

This villa is amazing and lives up to the photos, if not exceeds them. The rooms are immaculate and the air conditioning is cool (we were there in very hot August). All of the communal areas are perfect for hanging out with your friends and family, and there are many smaller "nooks and crannies" where you can get away from the group for some relaxing alone time to read a book, etc. Candi is the ultimate friendly and helpful butler/caretaker, and he and Yolanda are truly talented chefs. The food they will cook for you is better than 99% of the restaurants you'll find. This villa is an absolute delight and I could not recommend it any more highly.

Amazing Villa, Stunning Bay Views and Exceptional Staff

If you are on the fence about this property please jump right off and book! The picture of this house are fantastic, but seeing it in person is AMAZING. Our group of friends (with some couples) had a fantastic stay at Casa Rigoletti, each with our own rooms that made it feel like we occupied our own bed and breakfast. Spacious, but still together. The pool and all the different sitting areas were awesome, and those weren’t even the best part. By far an away the best feature of this property is the amazing family that takes care of it and you throughout your stay. Candelario was always there to check on any of our needs, gave the tour of the house, and even did our grocery shopping. His wife Yolanda did all of the cooking during our stay (breakfast, snacks by the pool around lunch, and dinner!) and every meal was so delicious. She has a lot of variety in what she cooks and she even kept track of some of our pickier eaters. We’ve done trips as a group like this in the past and to date, this has been the best experience. Town is also walking distance away (take a quick pit stop at the bar on your way back up and the hill won’t feel as steep) and water taxis to take you to other beaches are right there as well. We will definitely be coming back one day!

Great experience

The property was very beautiful, large open, Palapa covered spaces (to either gather, or to 'get away') Very clean. The pool is huge and perfectly maintained. Rooms were large and very nice, but the pool was the gem. We spent most of the time in, or around the pool. It had a spectacular (and close up) view of Zihau bay from the infinity edge. Ours was a very 'relaxing' vacation, not particularly a 'beach' vacation. The view was great, but any beach would have been quite a ways to walk or ride. We divided our time between here and a hotel on the beach. Yolanda and husband live on the property, and her cooking practically every meal for us was an unbelievable treat. They made the vacay SO special.

Casa Rigoletti - Villa of our dreams

Stunning Villa with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The pool was amazing - warm, built-in loungers, floaties and a deep end that was great for teenagers (and adults!) to dive in and play. Cande greeted us warmly, organized grocery runs or went himself, and served meals made by his wife Yolanda (delicious!). The villa was kept clean and stocked with towels. The pictures do not do the villa justice - the bedrooms and outdoor living spaces are even better in person. Our group of 11 had plenty of room in terms of sleeping arrangements and in the outdoor spaces. The views from the infinity pool are stunning. The walk to town is short but the hill is steep coming back.

Fabulous Villa

The Villa was amazing, the view was spectacular. Candy and Yolanda were extremely accomodating. Everyone enjoyed Yolanda's cooking and Candy did everything from arrainging taxis, shopping for food to taking us to the store, he was always there to help. The entire staff was the best! Dora the owner was a phone call away and she was extremely helpful with setting up our trip. The only thing that was missing on the property was a dryer which would have been nice to have. We would highly recommend staying here. I know one day soon we will be back. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation, hope to see you soon. Ted & Kelly

Paradise!!

We arrived and Candy met us at the taxi and instantly we took a liking to him. He was helpful in getting our luggage in. The place was beautiful, clean and tidy. I can not say enough on how well Candy attended to our every need. He was always checking to see if we needed any thing and was full of helpful advice. All our meals wonderfully were cooked and laid out at a fancy set up table. The cooking was excellent and our rooms were always made up. In fact she never ever got in the way to make up the beds. Very professional. We loved every bit of our stay. Thank you so much. We would love to do it again next year.

Loved our stay!

We had an excellent time at Casa Rigoletti. The Villa was beautiful and had amazing views of not only the bay but Zihua as well. The rooms were very comfortable and spaced out. We were a little surprised by the number of stairs and the incline of the Villa entrance. The Mendoza’s took care of us the whole trip, imagine our surprise when we found out that they’re part of our worldwide brotherhood! We felt right at home. Cande made sure we knew the best spots to visit and was able to make us amazing reservations to go fishing out at sea. Yolanda’s food was delicious!! We hardly ate out because of how amazing her cooking is. Our rooms were always spotless and taken care of. During our visit the dryer was not working but Cande and Yoli were very accommodating and were able to direct us to a laundry service. We loved our time at Casa Rigoletti and will definitely be recommending it to the friends.

Perfect Perch

Our group absolutely loved staying at this beautiful house! There was nothing we didn’t enjoy. The location, hospitality, pool, and design were absolutely perfect. Cande and Yolanda were amazing hosts who made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Yolanda’s food was sooooooo delish! And Cande could not have been more accommodating and kind. We loved being able to walk to town, yet feel like we were a world away. We can’t wait to go back!

Zihua Bliss

We have been to Zihuatenejo several times but nothing compares to Casa Rigoletti. The house is just a few minutes to town but you’d never know it. The layout of the house is endless views and hangout spots. We had a big group of family and friends and everyone had a life changing wonderful experience! Candi and Yolanda prepared our delicious meals and made sure we had the most amazing g vacation of all time. We wanted for nothing. Can’t convey enough how perfect this place is. Bring binoculars - the wildlife is just as stunning as our hosts.

The ultimate guest experience

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Rigoletti, it’s a beautiful place to unwind and relax. The house is tastefully decorated and each bedroom offers a very comfortable and pleasing atmosphere. There was constant care and attention was give to us through out our stay from Cande and Yolanda. Cande always going the extra mile for us to ensure all our needs were met and Yolanda’s Mexican flare for all the delicious meals she prepared was amazing. They made our trip most enjoyable, they are un-replaceable, and such an asset to the entire experience.

Heavenly!

Our extended family (mom, dad, teen son, grandpa, and aunt) had the best time at Casa Rigoletti. The property is expansive, beautiful, and meticulously maintained. Communication with both Dora and Cande prior to arrival was excellent. Cande made sure we had food and bevs waiting for us upon arrival. Cande and Yolanda are so nice and welcoming. They took care of everything, and helped us relax and thoroughly unwind. They make breakfast and dinner (such tasty meals! Request the grilled chicken, the enchiladas, and the green pasta) nearly every day. The pool and the palapa are perfection. The rooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed and are cleaned daily. Feels like an exclusive hotel/b&b. Truly dreamy. So dreamy, in fact, we have already booked our next stay! Pro tip: Request a private yoga session in the palapa from Sania. It’s a perfect way to start a day. Thank you Dora, Cande, and Yolanda for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful, clean, spacious home!

My family enjoyed a lovely stay at this home! It has alot of space and each room is absolutely perfect. It almost felt like we were in a dream while we were here, it's that beautiful. Candelario and his wife were very helpful and kind, and it felt like they were an extension of our family while we were there. Their service and cooking was top notch! My son got sick during our stay, and Candelario was kind enough to take us to a doctor late at night to get him treated. We would have not known where to go, so we are super thankful for Candelario. A few things to keep in mind for other guests: 1. The location of the home may be a bit difficult to find if you are not from the area. There is not a specific address with a house number. 2. Beware of scorpions. Candelario does regular spraying to exterminate them, but one did manage to get into our bed and it stung my daughter on the finger. Luckily, she did not have a severe reaction to it. 3. Candelario and his wife will cook all meals for you if you wish. However, you must give them advance (at least 2-3 day) notice before your arrival so they can plan and prep if you wish to have a meal ready when you arrive. Also, Candelario will check in with you daily so you can provide meal plans, etc. and will tell you how much money he will need to buy supplies. He provides a detailed list at the end of your stay showing how much money you gave him for food supplies, and how much he spent. If there is money left over that was not spent, he will return to you. 4. The pool has a small shallow area, and then it drops suddenly into the deep area. It does not slowly get deeper, it is just a sudden drop. If you do not know how to swim, you must be extremely careful and aware of where the pool deepens. There is no lifeguard on duty, so it is very important that you practice pool safety. Our family had THE BEST time here, we made the most fabulous memories and would love to return someday. This is by far the best vacation rental I have ever stayed at. Each room, each outdoor area, the pool and everything is just absolutely beautiful and picturesque!
