We really enjoyed our stay at Nancy's Lookout. The house is clean, comfortable and well-stocked. We loved the beautiful view of the beach from the home's expansive windows, and really enjoyed the perfect stretch of beach that is a short walk away. We chose this house because it was important to us to have a place that allowed dogs. As another reviewer mentioned, it would have been helpful to have some sort of gate on the side deck that has stairs straight down to the street. We were nervous to let our dogs just sit on the deck, so kept them leashed, which wasn't ideal.
Our only real complaint was the beds. We are used to sleeping on memory foam mattresses, and found these beds to be on the hard side. That, of course, is a matter of personal preference; some people like harder mattresses, but we did not find these beds to be particularly comfortable. But the more pressing issue for us was the size of the beds. The house is advertised as accommodating 6 adults. I took that at face value, and did not really consider the fact that there are two queen beds and one double. The bedrooms are small, so maybe larger beds would not fit in the rooms, but unless you're 6 very small adults, you may feel squished with this bed arrangement. Our group included my husband and me, our two grown sons and their partners. The unlucky couple that ended up in the double bed were not thrilled. Maybe more accurate to advertise as accommodating 5 adults. Other than that, loved this place!
