The house and location were so serene and beautiful. It was exactly what we needed. We were able to get away, explore the UP, and enjoy campfires along the beach every night. We left rejuvenated and refreshed.

Fabulous house, beach and location.We especially like the quality of construction and the attention to detail. Having spent much time in Finland over the years we immediately felt we were back there. We loved the house!The location and the beach deck are wonderful and added to the ambiance.We want to return.

Beautiful property! Home is very well maintained and is in an excellent location. Private beach area is beautiful and close to both Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon. Host and staff are readily available if anything arises and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The pictures speak for themselves. Communication with the owners was great, they even let us know when the best chances to see the Northern Lights were. The cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable. The outdoor space however stole the show, the sunsets on the shore of Lake Superior every night were incredible. 10/10 would stay here again.

We had a wonderful week here with our family (two adults, two kids under 5, and our dog). The biggest highlight was the location — it truly felt like having our own private beach. We spent hours swimming and hunting for treasures. One of the best parts was being able to bring our dog. Pet-friendly waterfront rentals aren't always easy to find, and it made the trip that much more enjoyable. We'd happily stay here again!A couple of things to note: the listing photos are definitely the property's "glamour shots." The home has picked up some normal cosmetic wear and tear since those were taken, but nothing that impacted our stay. And for families with little ones, there's no bathtub, and there aren't beach toys or other kid-specific extras, so you might want to pack them if you have space.

Excellent location and very accommodating cabin!

We enjoyed our stay, so many benefits! The location to hiking trails, the relaxing atmosphere at the cabin, beachfront views, and the best part would be having our working dog enjoy the entire adventure with us! Loved every second of our stay!

Amazing, beautiful stay. Was so close to everything we wanted to do at Porcupine and the scenery coming off the beach patio was the cherry on top. After busy days, to be able to come back, relax, kick up the fire place with comfort and all the things we needed. Thank you so much and we would absolutely come back if ever in the area again!

Excellent stay !

We loved the location and the property was spotless ! Walking out to beach for sunrise and sunset was super nice . We were close to local attractions and hiking - thank you - we will for sure be back !

Great stay

Great location and the home was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were great. We will definitely rent again. We highly recommend this property.
