Cozy home minutes from Porcupine Mountains and Lake Superior

Come enjoy year-round fun in our newly updated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home situated on 4 acres. A large yard and driveway provide adequate parking space for trailers. We welcome well-mannered, housebroken dogs! An outdoor fire pit with seating is provided in the summer months. Within the home, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, crockpot, coffee pot/K-cup, and dishwasher. Cups, plates/bowls, and utensils are provided. There is a washer and dryer in the house for use. The home has 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. Bed linens and towels are provided. There is a dining table that seats 6. The spacious living room has a couch, loveseat, chaise lounge, and recliner. WIFI, Amazon Firestick, Roku TV, and a DVD player are provided. At just 3 miles from the Porcupine Mountains, our location is the perfect distance for allowing you to enjoy some of the beauties Upper Michigan has to offer. In the winter, hit the slopes at the Porcupine Mountains Ski Area downhill skiing/snowboarding, XC skiing, and snowshoeing. If you prefer your skis to have motors, access snowmobile Trail #1 right from the driveway. Summer is the perfect time to explore the biking trails at the ski hill or take a hike and view the many waterfalls in the area. With public beach access less than 1/4 mile from the home, a short walk could lead to spending the day playing in the water, searching for agates, or relaxing to the sound of waves. While you wind down for the evening, take the hassle out of making dinner and grab a pizza from the Porcupine Mountains Outpost. They have delicious ice cream for dessert too or enjoy making s'mores around the outdoor fire pit back at the house. Don't forget to try your hand at Yooperlite hunting at dusk. Whatever you choose-Adventure Awaits! We hope you make many lifetime memories!

Such a great property and very close to the Porcupine mountains! It's quite spaceous inside, the beds and couches are super comfortable, and the outdoor area is large and mostly private since nerghbors aren't right on top of you - awesome fire pit and chairs! They also have minimal chores for check out, which is refreshing.

This was an awesome house that fit 5 of us comfortably. So close to the Porky's you could do so much hiking and explore Lake Superior. We would come back here if we head back this way.

Our second year staying here. We love it!!! The backyard is surrounded by trees and feels very private. There's a small charcoal grill, firepit, and comfy outdoor lounge chairs. The house is great with comfy sofas in the living room, kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make breakfast/lunch/dinner, or there are suggestions and menus for places to eat nearby in the welcome binder. So thoughtful. Erin, the host, is friendly and super responsive. It's a great rental. Highly recommend

This was our second time staying at this property. The property is nicer than pictures show, clean, and well stocked with plenty of room for our group of 4. Back yard has a great firepit and chairs, privacy, and we could feel like we were in a cabin in the woods. Owners are very responsive. Only a couple miles from the beautiful Porcupine Mountains Wilderness area!

The home was very clean and well equipped for our stay. It is tastefully decorated and has comfortable furniture and beds. The home has a great location for visiting the Porcupine Mountains being just minutes from park entrance. The owners have a binder of helpful information, restaurants and suggested attractions. The kitchen has everything you could need (Crock Pot, pans, dishes, etc.), Wi-fi worked great, and check-in was easy. We would stay again.

The house very spacious for the 6 of us. Well stocked. Communications was fast and resolved issues. One thing I would recommend, BRING FANS! (a few) While there IS an air conditioning unit in the living area, it doesn't make the bedrooms and bathrooms cooler. We had fans blowing towards every bedroom and also an oscillating fan in the living room. Getting to places was pretty close. Restaurants and falls are wonderful!

Adventures abound

We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and had a blast! This home is well-maintained and a great place to stay if you want to explore the area seeing waterfalls and finding gorgeous rocks. Our stay was memorable and we all had a fun time.

Cozy and clean

Erin was an excellent host. Stayed in contact with us when we needed it. The property has a nice yard just enough off the road. The house was very nice and clean on our arrival. My mother(78)and i are rouckhounds and my father and boyfriend put up with our rockhounding shenanigans. They all enjoyed their stay. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great Stay!

Great property for our family. The kitchen was well equipped, there’s firewood at the end of the driveway to purchase which was handy. It was very clean neat and organized. I loved all the branded items in the home, coasters, mugs. It was in a good location for the adventures on our trip.

Great place

Wow was this place clean. Very conveniently located to Porcupine Mountain SP. This home had everything that we needed plus it still had open kitchen cabinets to put away our own items. The furniture and beds were comfortable. We were very happy with this rental.

Family trip

This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and we really like it. Though it may be dated, it is well-maintained and spotless. It has all the amenities, and the large private yard is perfect for our dog. It is also in a prime location near the Porcupine Mountains and Lake Superior fishing.

We only stayed 2 nights, but the location fit our needs as we wanted to explore the Porcupine Mt. State Park. We used the kitchen for a cold breakfast and stored our picnic supplies in the fridge. We did not do any cooking but ir looked like the kitchen was well stocked if one wanted to do so. Great place to stay

Great location

House was clean. Erin was great with communication. We came up to snowmobile. Property was right on the trail and we had plenty of room for trucks and trailers in the driveway.
