M. D.I.の静かな側の森にある新しいコテージアウター諸島の景色。 ペットに優しい。 M. D.I.のほぼすべての場所への無料シャトルバスシステム（6月23日からコロンバスウィークエンドまで）に加えて、町およびグレートハーバーマリーナまで徒歩圏内です。とアカディア国立公園。 アカディア国立公園、ハイキング、サイクリング、カヤック、水泳、登山、バードウォッチング、ホエールウォッチングなどがあります。
これは、2011年秋に完成した新しいコテージです。 クイーンサイズのベッドルーム、ダブルの布団を備えたスリーピングロフト、大聖堂の天井、追加の睡眠用の折りたたみ式ベッドまたはエアベッドを備えたリビングとダイニングエリアのあるベッドルーム。 沿岸のメイン州で時々見られる肌寒い夜のために、手動またはサーモスタット制御を備えたプロパン暖炉。 全体にオーク材のフローリング。 必要なほとんどのアイテムを完全に備え、リクエストに応じて、必要なアイテムを提供しようとします。 パティオ家具とバーベキューグリルを備えたフルウッドデッキ。 コテージの前の庭と小川エリアにあるファイヤーピットと4つの椅子。 3つのコテージ（Homeaway＃956783＆＃3498716）で、多くの大規模なグループまたは家族の集まり（14人）に対応できます。

Enjoyed our stay at the little house in the woods. Views were spectacular! Location was fantastic. Only suggestion, it was cold and a heater in the bathroom would have been nice. Otherwise loved the place.

This property was such an Amazing find. Walking distance to town and yet it felt nestled deep in the woods. We saw so many animals in just a few short days - deer, turkey, and even a sweet skunk! This property is a wonderful basecamp for visiting Acadia and feels very removed from the chaos of other nearby places to stay. The night sky from this cottage is incredible. Be sure to visit the local restaurants and shops- everyone we met in Southwest Harbor was so welcoming. We will make this property our Go To for Acadia and the surrounding area every time we visit Maine.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin! Check-in was seamless, and the house was spotless and ready for us upon arrival. As a family of four, we found the space to be incredibly well-designed—our kids (ages 11 and 14) loved sleeping in the loft, while my wife and I were very comfortable in the bedroom on the main floor.Although the cabin is compact, it never felt cramped. The layout, furniture, and even the bathroom were thoughtfully arranged and made the space feel open and inviting. Everything—from the indoor seating to the outdoor furniture, grill, fire pit, and kitchen appliances—was in excellent condition, super clean, and a joy to use.The location was ideal: just 20 minutes to Acadia’s main trails and Bar Harbor, and only a few minutes to the nearby downtown. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area.We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-appointed stay near Acadia park. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This cabin was amazing! The location back in the woods up the end of the road was a welcome retreat after days exploring the island and Acadia. The deck was perfect for coffee in the morning or drinks at night. The sunrises were beautiful to watch from our own bedroom. :). Fire pit was so cool to have and the wood provided was perfect . Vicki was a great host and we’d definitely come back for a stay in the future.

Great property. Well equiped and comfortable. Feels like you are out in the middle of the woods, but it is just a short walk (5 minutes) to downtown Southwest Harbor.

Every year we rent this lovely cottage and every year the owner continues to enhance our stay. This is the only rental we repeat annually. It now feels like our home away from home.

Perfect location and all the amenities in a cabin-like setting. Easy to walk to town (just walk down the long driveway) but just as lovely to relax feeling away from it all. The deck was perfect and we had a nightly firepit with the fully stocked solo stove. Laundry in the outside area was very much appreciated as were the games tucked away inside. We loved every minute of it!

WONDERFUL!!

Our second time here. It is a lovely cottage with great location. After the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor this meticulous and quiet cottage is a perfect place to unwind with a plus of a fire pit with wood provided each day. Highly recommended !!!!

Perfect quiet home base for spending days on the trails of Acadia. Southwest harbor is a quiet town away from the bustle. Vicki was very accommodating and a pleasure to stay here. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities that we needed.

Comfortable, light-filled cottage in a wooded setting. A very short drive, or a ten-minute walk into central Southwest Harbor. Highly recommended. Host lives nearby and is easy to reach.

A perfect getaway

A lovely property with a beautiful rustic cottage. The attached deck is perfect to sit, relax, and enjoy the falling leaves. You are only a few miles from Acadia National Park and walking distance from the harbor. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Very nice and quiet place in the woods. A grea biking and tracking experience at Acadia parkk. However, the bedroom was a little bit cold during the night.

Perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was quiet, well- appointed and you can’t beat the location. We loved having the balance of feeling that you’re tucked away in the woods but able to walk anywhere to town was a pleasure. Highly recommend Southwest Harbor!

Great place

We repeat this location every year because of the great care that Vicki gives the property. Its a great value and prime location. Each year we return, she has further upgraded the house.

Doug Beal, Jr. a 5th generation, lived in Southwest Harbor his whole life. He and his wife, Vicki, owned a Marine Conctruction and Diving Business for 41 years. They decided to start a retirement business, so, they began building seasonal rental cottages. Doug completed 3 of them before he passed away in the summer 2015 ( Homeaway #3498723 and #3498716 ). Vicki is carrying on the business that she and Doug started, together.
The three cottages can house 19 happy vacationers, (for a group looking to vacation, together), or rent one for a family. Woodland Cottages I, II and III, all have great holiday appeal ~
