This is a beautiful unit with stunning views of the ocean and property from the balcony. The unit itself is beautifully decorated with tasteful art and quality furniture. Rock features are displayed in all rooms and a beautiful rock shell is inlaid in the floor. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this unit again in the future. It is so central to many restaurants and stores so you are able to walk to your destination. Love Love this place

Beautiful Place!

Nice quiet property with all the comforts of home. We loved the peaceful beauty of BVG. From the balcony to the palapa, nothing but peaceful relaxation. Another great plus is the restaurant on site. Food is very good and staff is super friendly/helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent Vacation Rental Property

We have vacationed at the Bay View Grand Residential multiple times. This was our first time in this unit and it was just as great as the previous units we have rented. Ixtapa is a great vacation destination and this condo was the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

The Bay View Grand Residential is wonderful! Having a condo is so much nicer than the busy all inclusive that we have stayed at. The complex is perfect!

Tranquil

The minute you walk in you feel welcomed and relaxed. The space is inviting and decorated beautifully. We had a lovely stay. The balcony view was amazing. The necessities for our stay were all in our villa. A short walk to many restaurants and stores. The beach is picture perfect! Wonderful beach walking and activities outside your door.

The Bay View Grand Residential is great very clean and safe so much nicer than staying at a busy resort. The bar service is the best and the restaurant serves delicious food already booked to return. Also try Margarita’s tamales she walks the beach selling the best tamales ever!

Absolutely beautiful!

Everything about this property is great! The view can't be beat. The condo had everything we wanted. Shopping and great restaurants are just across the street, and most are in walking distance. The staff who work the restaurant, pool, and beach are friendly and efficient. I definitely want to come back and stay here again!

Gorgeous!

We stayed at this unit in January 2013. The condo is beautifully decorated with an absolutely gorgeous view. The owner had provided information on what to do and where to go in the area which was very helpful. The staff at the complex are very accommodating. We had an amazing week here and hope to return very soon.

Beautiful place, what a view

Craig takes pride in the condo and it shows, everything is first class and well laid out. Although we did not do much cooking, the kitchen area and supplies were complete for all cooking needs. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were quiet. The deck was awesome, great place for an evening glass of wine looking out over the ocean. The Barcello next door at times was a bit loud, but thats part of the fun.

Ixtapa never disappoints

Our condo was lovely. May we offer these suggestions? Have the property manager check it before guests arrive. We had several issues. For a week we had no access to tv. The cable had been removed from the back of the unit? Our shower didn’t have a light; it had a hole in the ceiling with wires dangling from it. Most certainly a safety issue.

Beautiful Condo!

I have stayed many times at BVG and seen many different units. This one was a wonderful open space. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed and to be able to view the ocean completely with cooking or in kitchen was my highlight. The beds are incredibly comfortable along with the sheets and pillows. Having to go to the beach for sunset was the only down side for late March if you call it that but having stayed on the north side of the building as well, the heat and the sun glare you get can be to much after a day in the sun. The condo was wonderfully breeze filled all day! Would definitely stay here again! Just be prepared to stock your own toilet paper,paper towels, garbage bags etc. I feel on any of these rentals I use what is there in some things and pay it forward with other things needed. This is not a hotel and that’s why I LOVE it!!

Everything good, except...

Beautiful property and condo. Great location. We used the on site spa for massages three times during the week. Wonderful! The only complaint was with the cleanliness of the master bedroom. The bedding was old and smelled so strong of mildew we had to put comforter and sheets on the balcony! I've contacted the owner who said he would address this with the management company.

Beautiful property great place to experience Ixtapa

Location perfect, views can’t be beat, staff friendly and very helpful (the best) the grill has the best food and staffed by the most friendly servers in Ixtapa! We have stayed at BVG for about the last 13 years and we will return!

Very Nice!

Good communication from the owner when needed. Slight glitch with wi-fi which we remedied on our own with another password we found hanging in a closet. Not a huge deal. All in all a really pleasant place to be including the pool and grounds. One thing which I am sure is no fault of owner is to be prepared for a $17 fee for each wristband and an assigned table or lounge chairs(if your lucky)for your stay.

BVG Res

Very nice property, just a couple simple things that ownership could do to improve the overall stay. First, when we arrived the 5 gallon water jug was empty, it cost $3 USD to have BVG replace it. Second, the bracelets you need to be staying at BVG cost $17/person. This is the first time I have had to pay this expense and I have stayed at BVG 6-7 times. Like I said, this is a great unit with fantastic views and we simply love BVG but these small things could be addressed by ownership to improve the overall stay. I would rent this unit again in the future.

Amazing view...but...

The condo itself is beautiful with an absolutely gorgeous view. Beds are comfortable, furniture and decorations are nice. We were a little surprised that the first thing we had to do was go to the Mersa and buy toilet paper as there was none! There is a dishwasher, but no soap for it. Found salt and pepper, but nothing else. Soap dispensers in both bathrooms were empty. Thank goodness we brought 2 bars for our sink and shower. Just wish we would have known it was so barely stocked. The lady cleaning when we arrived spoke no English, so no help there. As for the BVG property itself....if you stay in the S building, you hear the constant hum of the air conditioners of the Barcelo next door. Pools are quiet at all times. No music, even by the one near the restaurant! People reading and knitting. Beach is beautiful with water sports nearby. If I were to visit Ixtapa again, I would try to find a place a bit less geriatric.

Had another great trip to Ixtapa and Bay View Grand

This is our 3rd year in a row staying in Craig's condo. It is very well appointed, comfortable and welcoming. This year there were also some repairs/improvements that turned out very nice. We have been coming to Ixtapa 40 years and have recently started staying at the Bay View Grand instead of a hotel. We like it much better and hope to continue as we have the last 3 years.

I am a chiropractic doctor with over 30 years of experience and have been hosting vacation rentals for many years. In addition to this property in Ixtapa, I own and manage other rental homes along the North Shore of Lake Superior as well as a property in Puerto Vallarta.

I take great pride in creating comfortable and welcoming spaces for guests to enjoy. Each property is thoughtfully cared for and designed to provide a relaxing environment where guests can unwind and enjoy their surroundings.

I also spend time at my properties personally throughout the year, which allows me to continually maintain and improve them to ensure they remain clean, comfortable, and enjoyable places for guests to stay.
