We are repeat visitors to this complex and, like the other VRBO condos, this one is in a terrific location: quiet, low-traffic, accessible to the beach and restaurants. Host was efficient and helpful in tacking-on an extra day for us. Condo was clean. If you plan to cook at the condo, bring everything (food-wise) in - there are no wayward condiment containers in the refrigerator, or half-full spice jars in cabinets - and I don't disagree with this policy at all, but may be helpful for those who don't eat-out much.We enjoy this location very much, including the consistency from unit to unit as we return each year.

Comfortable getaway place

This was a great location for us. We could walk to one of our favorite restaurants and everywhere else was a short and easy drive. Loved morning coffee on the screened balcony.

Old Marco

Location of unit was good..away from the busy southern end of the island. Convenient restaurants and a great bakery. Everything was as stated in the listing. The amenities list should include type of coffee pot and hairdryer. Definitely will be back.

Nice Unit

We booked this unit for a two-day stay since it was close to the marina for the Key West Express. Since we spent our only full day on the boat to and from Key West, we didn’t get much of a chance to explore Marco Island or the complex. We did manage to take a quick walk through the the shops and restaurants on site and were impressed though. The unit was clean and well stocked with towels and paper products. It is also conveniently located right by the elevator too. We only slept on the king size bed and the mattress was a Tempurpedic. A little difficult to get used to if you don’t currently sleep on one, but OK. The only negative thing that we noticed was that the shower curtain liners are in need of replacement. We would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Marco Island.

Great Stay

We spent the month of February and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided for a lovely stay. The pool is small, but very adequate with nice furnishings. Check in was seamless. We did not any issues for he entire month. On site restaurants are excellent and the music venue provided entertainment. We are already looking forward to another stay…..and the weather ….priceless!

Great location, roomy apartment

We had issues with our check in and the property manager very quickly jumped into action and made the situation right which we very much appreciated. The space was perfect for 3 adults -- great screened in porch and roomy sitting area. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Would highly recommend and would book again.

Condo was very nice and clean - furniture was in very good shape. Dishes/pans could use a refresh. The balcony was wonderful (very large and we stored our bikes easily). Lighting over stove was lacking Pool was too cool to swim but hot tub was great. Easily rode our bikes to many places. Restaurants onsite were a big bonus for evening meals and live music. Driving directions should be updated with name of resort as it was a bit difficult when arriving to be sure we were at correct place.

Great place

Owner assured me that everything was working. However the internet was not working. I'm guessing that it was due to residual damage from hurricane Ian. This caused me significant stress as I was unable to complete important work. As much as this was a stressor, the unit itself is awesome and there is no denying that. Great place!

Great place to stay!

We found this condo to be quiet and SUPER CLEAN with abundant towels and comfortable beds. It offered easy access for our itinerary. Although the pool closed early (6PM) it too was very clean and with ample lounge chairs. The Smith House (on property) offers an amazing and well priced breakfast. This will be #1 on our list for our next visit to Marco Island!

Ideal Marco Island Locatiion

My husband and I had a fantastic weekend in this unit. Communication and check in instructions were crystal clear, and the pictures don’t do the unit justice. The unit was immaculate and very spacious. We were walking distance to the Snook Inn for dinners with live music, as well as the Smith House for the best breakfast on the island with homemade breads. There are also cute shops and galleries to explore right next door, and lots to do and see, as well as the beach within a short, less than 10 minute drive. We couldn’t be happier, and will definitely stay again the next time we’re in Marco Island.

We were able to book this unit last minute and it was very nice!

The north end of the island and walking distance to many restaurants! Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The unit was very clean and well appointed, fully stocked kitchen. Although the screened lanai didn’t have a great view it was huge and looked out on a quiet street, and this was just fine since we were out doing things during the day and sat out more at night. I would definitely stay here again. The main real downside is DO NOT expect to get good communication or response from the property management!! The front door handle literally fell off in my hand halfway through our trip and after leaving several messages I finally got a call back and was told the maintenance person would fix it that day since our unit was not secure!! No one ever showed that day so I called again and was told that same thing again the next day. Well, no one showed up! Ever! So, we went to the property managers office next to the restaurant and was told they don’t handle that unit. It was never fixed. Needless to say, we had to put the door handle on each time we left and hoped no one would notice. If this type of problem doesn’t motivate the management company to do something immediately that needs attention, I can’t imagine what would. I feel bad for the owner who is obviously probably paying a pretty penny to a crappy management company. I think we would still stay there again because is was clean and in a great location, but definitely needs improvement on addressing real concerns when they come up.

Clean,a little dated,not all lights worked.under microwave lights did not work.Coffee pot to small. Frying pans not flat and scratched.We worked with what was there.

Olde Marco Inn

Lovely apartment. The beds and furniture was comfortable. We had to call the property manager for a minor issue which was fixed immediately. Loved the 4 restaurants on property as we visited during spring break when it was difficult to get a reservation. Two of the restaurants had table available without reservations. Only drawback to the property was the fans in the bathroom. Both were quite loud and came on with the lights so could not be turned off. A minor issue really.

Unfortunately, the beds are way too firm at this location. All 4 of us found them very uncomfortable. The bathrooms are equipped with a fan/light combo. The fans in both bathrooms were so loud that you couldn’t turn on the light without waking the others so we stumbled around in the dark when others were sleeping.

Great location, wonderful stay

We had an amazing time. This is our first time at Marco island and the location was great. Restaurants and cute local shops are less than 5 min walking. Everything was clean, looked newly remodeled in the condo, nicely decorated. Both bedrooms and bathrooms had plenty of room, comfortable for the whole family. The huge screened-in patio was a great to sit outside. Just had a couple of minor things: the master bath fan which turns on with the light was obnoxiously loud and there was a stain on the ceiling from a roof leak.
