This property is amazing; hands-down one of the most beautiful views from a porch in Colorado. My partner and I decided to spend a socially distant/quarantine week here, and couldn't have been happier.
The place was spotless - Cristina obviously puts a lot of effort and consideration into the property. There were numerous outlets; the bathrooms and kitchens were impeccably stocked; they provided us a bottle of local wine and a very sweet welcome note.
Cristina is a fabulous host - she was communicative, welcoming, and accommodating (though we didn't want for much). The family lives on-premise, and were certain to point out that they could not hear us upstairs, so we did not have to mind being too loud and crazy as we did puzzles and enjoyed the views. Despite their proximity, guests shouldn't be concerned about not feeling remote - you certainly will.
The family also has an incredibly sweet dog, Miles. If you like dogs, he's ready and willing to play with you. If that's not your thing, he's very good about leaving you alone.
The setting is beautiful - a large house nestled into the mountainside in the Marble valley. Do not expect a quick jaunt to the local grocer, however. Marble is notably remote, and is about a 45 minute plus drive to the nearest big(ish) town, and the drive from the main road to the house itself is nearly a mile of pretty bumpy dirt/gravel road. Our little Kia Soul was able to make it just fine, but bear that in mind!
The pictures do NOT do this property justice - we had an AMAZING time, made all the better by this wonderful host.
