Our second time here!

We love this unit, so much so, we have chosen to stay here twice and will probably stay here again in the future. It's just steps away from the beach and the view from the balcony is awesome! We highly recommend this place!

The property is really nice just needs some updates. Had problems with the keypad to get in and we couldn’t find the card or bracelets to the indoor pool or gym but overall it was well worth the price

Family Vacation

Perfect size for our family of three! Easy access to stairwell and only one flight of stairs and loop around the corner got us to the Sassy Bass, board walk and the pool. The amenities were also a plus! They had a laundromat on-site as well as a library with books and puzzles for rainy days. Highly recommend YOLO!

Very much enjoyed the time spent there. Room had great view of the ocean. Only downside is soft mattress. wife and I have stayed in this room for the past few years and mattress needs to be replaced.

Pretty good place

The condo was ok. Some things could be done to make this place better. The room is directly above a restaurant and that wasnt in the description of the room. We had to ask the kitchen to turn down music twice late at night to sleep. The bed needs new mattress and the sheets as well. Sheets wont stay on bed. No ice maker in fridge or even ice trays. Some lighting in the room could be updated as well. The room is conveniently located for ease to the beach and the pool though.

Disappointed

The view from the unit was great, but it was apparent it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. There were cobwebs in corners, dust and mold around vents, and even a palmetto bug dead in the floor. The unit was open and unlocked when we arrived and the amenities passes were missing. The contact did help us with the passes and delivered them the next day. There was also a parking fee that wasn’t apparent from the listing. Likely won’t visit any properties from this manager again.

Great

I want to start by saying this place was great for 2 people. It had everything you need, and great location if you are looking for a gettaway. Beach was great, check in was great, responsive, overall clean. BUT it smelled like cigarette smoke, bad. We thought maybe it was that maybe someone had smoked on the balcony and just accidentally let it in, but we were there for 4 days and it was just as strong as the first day we came. I did notify the management to let them know that its probably in the walls and furniture, it was that bad. We went ahead and stayed bc we just didnt spend enough time in the condo to not tough it out. Also, it says its non smoking, and the condo itself says non smoking everywhere. Everything else was great.

Check in was super easy, that’s about it. This condo states that it is newly renovated and clearly is not. The outlets are so old they don’t hold the plugs, the vacuum is sold Old it doesn’t vacuum as well as spits anything it does, out. There’s mold on the ceiling in the shower, no garbage bags, we made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the only pan provided doesn’t fit and got stuck. The blanket provided for the pullout couch was stuffed in the top of the closet, soiled pillow stuffed in there as well. We felt so dirty there!!!! Pictures are super deceiving. For the price of this, look around. I do NOT recommend.

Good and bad

Upon arrival the room had NOT been sufficiently sweep. There was sand everywhere. The wrong door access code was provided by vacasa online So the security officer provided us a new one on a sticky note. The 9 on the keypad doesn’t always work (and we used it twice in our code!). Most frustrating part of the trip was not having the amenities that made us chose this property in the beginning- WiFi and an indoor pool. I called to trouble shoot the WiFi with and the company number provided and they supposedly were sending a technician . Finally the provided access card for all amenities, including the indoor pool would not work. The security on site wouldn’t let us in even though we had the card and provided wristband, he told us to call Vacasa about the problem. Luckily a different security guard did let us in the room with the jacuzzi. Lastly, the room is located directly above the on-site restaurant. They have amazing food but you will hear everyone who comes and goes.

Locked out of paradise

We love the place, location, and people! On our first night our key card stopped working and we had to go to security to get a new key. Well their key didn’t work and we were stuck outside for a while. Since I’m a former gymnast and problem solver by trade I decided to spider my way up to the balcony using a table from the restaurant below our condo. It’s about 18ft up so we propped it on its side and I climbed up on the railing. No harm no foul. We got new keys the following day and everything worked. Well on night number two the same thing happened. I kind of tweaked my shoulder climbing the first night so didn’t want to have to do the same. Well maintainence came and went for two hours while I continued to call the property people. I informed them my phone was dying and we had been stuck out and exhausted for hours. It ruined our night time crabbing plans and ruined some good family times. Finally after waiting hours and lots of failed attempts by security I decided to bite the bullet and climb up again. To have the possibility of something like this happening when people like us drove all of the way from Texas is pretty crappy. I’ll think twice before ever booking with vacasa or recommending anyone other than the most elite gymnast and daredevils to vacation here again.

We loved this place

We have stayed in this unit 5102 a number of times. We love the layout of the Studio apartment. It is always clean. It’s easy to get in with a easy code to the door and it’s very close and easy to the beach. We love the Decor. When we book every year I always look to see if it’s available. We hope to go back next year and get this unit. It feels like our second home. Thanks to Jason and and his wife for Providing is a wonderful place to stay. Looking forward to be there next year

On the beach

The condo was small but okay for just two people. One flight up from the beach and the restaurant. Nice view of the beach and a quite building. The unit was well furnished by not real clean upon arrival.

Great Condo!

We loved the condo and the location, it was right on the beach. When looking at the pics online it looks like you are on the ground floor right on the beach, but you are actually on the first floor, with a restaurant right below you called the Sassy Bass. You do not have any of the smell from the restaurant coming up into your condo and the food is very good. The only complaint is whoever they hire for their cleaning service leaves a lot to be desired, I had to clean when we got there and I left it cleaner than the way I found it. Would definitely stay here again!

So cozy

Cute, cozy, has everything you need. Plenty towels and bedding, full kitchen. We saw dolphins from our balcony every morning. I would let you know this is 17 miles from town but so worth the drive. In a private, cozy area with awesome views everywhere! 6 pools, plenty grills, tennis, awesome amenities. Was only sad that the hot tub was closed.
