This duplex/townhome is spectacular…much better than the write up and photos led me to believe. The unit is right on the water with balconies from both the master bedroom and living area that look out over the water and the morning sunrises. There is also a balcony on the back side of the unit. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels were fine. There were 6 beach towels included with the unit. As others have said, the kitchen was sparse, but did include wine glasses and champagne flutes, a toaster, a blender, and a Keurig coffee maker (bring your own Keurig cups). No steamer pot for lobsters or shrimp though and no grilling utensils. Other than salt and pepper there were no cooking spices or oils provided. There was some liquid hand soap in each bathroom and plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags. There was also some dishwashing and laundry soap provided (enough to do one load of each per day). There are Adirondack chairs and a cornhole game in front of the unit that are part of the resort amenities. The sofa in the living area is showing its age and should be cleaned or replaced. However, it was very comfortable for 2 couples to sit on together while watching TV.
The resort has two pools (one adult only), a bocce ball court, a putting green, outdoor checkers and chess, a grill, a fish cleaning table, small marina area, kayaks and bikes available to guests, and a gym with decent equipment as well as a sauna. Plus, you can walk on a boardwalk through the mangroves to Kiki’s Restaurant that is next door to the resort. We rented a boat for a day just down the road at Lower Keys Boat Rental. Highly recommend them.
We would definitely stay here again!
