Mother daughter trip

Property is old and that’s ok. The problem was the toilet needed plunging when we walked in. The management service should have seen that. The beds and pillows are awful. I think I tried to sleep on every one. Even the bunk beds. They could do so much with the property if they would upgrade all mattresses and every pillow in the place.

Great week in Grayton

We love Grayton and this home was the perfect Location for our family. The house had everything we needed and we were comfortable all week. Loved the screened in porch for hanging out in the shade in the morning.

Castle of Dreams perfect family vacation rental

The home was perfect for our family. The living and kitchen area are open so great for spreading out our group of 8. Its a short walk to the beach. There's a lot of walking/hiking nearby.

Perfect for meet up with family.

We were able to eat meals on the porch, walk to the beach, walk to two different venues for wedding events. A lovely property perfect for us.

Little gem

Cute cottage with spacious living/dining/kitchen area and master bedroom/closet. Other 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are down back hallway away from living areas for increased privacy. Large laundry room with old, but working washer/dryer. Large screened in front porch with fan. Only downside is the small master bath, but it is functional. 1 block from beach/public beach access. No main roads to cross to get to beach.

So Grayt-ful!!

It was right on the edge of the week that Corona took our freedoms away... and spending this past week with my college age boys was a huge Blessing!! Loved every minute! House was perfect- we LOVED THE PORCH!! ☀️☀️☀️☀️🎉

Castle of Dreams for 2 weks

We had a nice experience with this property. It was clean and as described online. Great location. There were some little issues like the toaster that would only work if you held down the button. The outside chairs/table were awful - we wanted to sit outside in the back yard, but it needs a good cleanup. A suggestion would be to put in a level patio or deck area with some decent furniture. The front porch was wonderful and we spent a good deal of time there. The table and chairs would have been our preferred location to sit, but the chairs do not fit under the table and food & drinks would be bounced off when we tried to move chairs. The adirondak chairs were kind of uncomfortable. Some nice cozy furniture would have been much appreciated. Overall we enjoyed calling Castle of Dreams our home for a couple weeks. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of being there!

Great little house

This house was perfect for our family getaway. Plenty of beds, sitting areas, fully stocked kitchen, and about two blocks from the beach, RedBar, General Store, etc....

Relaxing vacation until the rain

Great location. Cute house! Very relaxing!We rented a golf cart so no issues with walking to the beach. Only a short walk to the beach if you have to walk. Loved the front porch, grill out back and open living room/kitchen, large laundry room, nice pantry, comfy beds and lots of board games to play. The only concerns we had that might prevent us from renting this awesome property again are the plumbing and roaches. We followed all the rules on the plumbing on what not to do and still when we used the washing machine the toilets gurgled. Our last night at the house it rained and huge roaches came out of the walls. They got in our luggage, bags and crawled all over us in the beds. Not a fan of attempting to sleep with roaches crawling on my face. Up until the roaches arrival we were dreading leaving to go home. Hopefully this is a quick fix because this really is an awesome vacation get away.

Great location

Great cottage on quiet street, short walk to beautiful Grayton Beach. The cottage was well equipped with the exception of only having one key to use among 3 of us. Great porch to relax on and plenty of amenities within walking/biking distance.

Comfy Cottage Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle of Dreams. The house, while somewhat small, was perfect for the two couples and dog. We loved the open concept of the living/dining room and kitchen. My husband had a stroke a while back so the open concept made it much easier for him to get around. He still had to negotiate the 2 steps in front, but that wasn't a problem. The master bedroom was very comfortable as was the mattress. Our friends stayed in the 2nd bedroom and they would have preferred a queen bed instead of the double. Plus they said the mattress was very soft. We really liked the full screen porch out front. The kitchen came well equipped. The grill out back, we were told, would be a gas grill but when we got there it was charcoal. No big deal. It also had a washer/dryer that we were able to use. Location to the beach was very walkable as well as to shops and the Red Bar.

comfortable, homey, not fancy

This was a comfortable house to stay in, and visually attractive. The front screened in porch was a very nice feature. Location was ideal -- down a quiet street and a short, easy walk to the lovely, not-crowded beach. The master bedroom was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The other two bedrooms did not get enough air (too hot, even with A/C turned at 70) and could both use a ceiling fan. Kitchen had a great variety of utensils.
