Four of us stayed here for my sister's bachelorette party and we absolutely loved the place! It was spacious, clean, had an excellent updated kitchen (the stovetop was so fancy, it took us a minute to figure out how it worked) where we cooked and hung out. Nora has all the amenities! The shower becomes a sauna, and one bathroom has a lovely tub, which my sister used to take a cozy bath! She has the best collection of teas! The view from the deck and front of the house was magnificent. There's a lovely brook running behind the property with rocking chairs overlooking it, where the sun hit just right. The fire pit was also excellent, two girls who weren't comfortable staying over drove up and we were able to do an outdoor hangout making s'more's and drinks! This area is perfect for hikers- there is the Denning trails 2 miles away and multiple mountain trails not too far drive- just what you'd expect for the Catskills. As a thought, it really is in the middle of nowhere, which we wanted because of Covid, but we didn't have service leaving the place or coming up to it- so screen shot directions! There is wifi but service was still meh- but perfect for unplugging! Being in a remote area, you need to come prepared with food. We did for the most part, but wanted food delivered one night and there is nowhere that delivers- not even grubhub. There is a brewery right down the road, which we did not go to, but most places are going to be 30 minutes away. The other thing to be aware of, is when we drove up it was snowing and raining, which can get a bit dicey, luckily we had an SUV and all wheel drive. We had an amazing time, I will dream about coffee on that deck for weeks, and my sister had a great bachelorette which is what matters.
