We’re so excited to welcome you to Woodfield Cabin—your home away from home in the heart of the Catskills, where unforgettable memories are made amidst breathtaking natural surroundings.

We recently replaced our heating system with brand-new, high-efficiency mini-splits that provide quiet, reliable heating and air conditioning in every season.

Inside, you’ll find:

Comfortable Accommodations

Primary bedroom behind elegant black barn doors, featuring a king-size bed dressed in luxurious 100% organic cotton percale sheets.

Two additional bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and the same high-quality organic bedding for a restful night’s sleep.

A cozy reading nook complete with an iconic Eames lounge chair and a record player—perfect for winding down with a good book or your favorite album.

Dedicated workspace with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi—ideal for remote work, virtual meetings, or streaming.

- A Note on Nature
Woodfield Cabin is nestled deep in the woods, high atop a mountain. While we take great care in maintaining the space and treating for pests, occasional encounters with insects or wildlife are possible. If you're extremely sensitive to these elements, this may not be the right fit, and we do not offer refunds for nature-related surprises.

Winter Guests – Important Info

A vehicle with All-Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive is required during the winter months. Roads are plowed regularly, but snow and ice may still be present—please drive with care.

Travel times may be longer in snowy conditions—plan accordingly!

You drive up to this curated little cabin in the middle of nowhere. Lights strung through the trees are very welcoming, as was the warm glow of the Christmas tree lights and other Christmas decorations. A very welcoming environment. The aesthetics are carefully thought out without being precious. Neutral colors reinforce the calming atmosphere. The hot tub is the perfect spot to relax. The kitchen has the basics, the bedding is all cotton and clean, as is the bathroom. All in all, a terrific getaway for someone looking to step off of the hampster wheel and exhale! A true winner! Thank you to our hosts!

This was an amazing house nestled in the mountains! We stayed over for Christmas with our family and it was even decorated nicely with a tree. It was very private, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The hot tub was a lovely experience in the winter time. Would definitely recommend.

We really had the best weekend getaway from NYC to the Catskills! This house is super cozy but modern, beds are comfy with great sheets, and it’s well stocked. We loved cooking and even did some baking while we were there. Our favorite spot was definitely the hot tub at night, and building a bonfire (with a ton of chopped wood available on property) was such a fun way to unwind. The owner was super kind and responsive. Can’t wait to come back!

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains, this is the place for you. The cabin is furnished with thoughtful aesthetic touches, a well stocked kitchen for cooking, and a number of amenities—grill, cedar hot tub, indoor fireplace and an outdoor fire pit. Each room is beautifully decorated—the kind of decor that gives the place a personality that invites you to really sink in to your get away. Surrounded by trees, deer and birds, the location is absolutely magical. And Lauren was fabulous— communicative without being intrusive, thoughtful and flexible. Super easy check in & out. My spouse and I will definitely be coming back. Don’t sleep on this listing; it’s totally worth the price!

A very beautiful property. Everything was very clean and has a very modern aesthetic. Especially for being pet friendly, the cleanliness was great. Glad to have really good WiFi to watch anything. Each bedroom was very comfortable. There wasnt much in terms of blinds/curtains but it was very secluded and get very dark. Perfect for sleeping with the glow of the stars. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils pots and pans. Do bring groceries for your stay since there's a 30 minutes distance to any food store. The deck is great. The hot tub was perfect to relax after a good hike. Plenty of wood for campfire or fire pit. Such a great weekend here.

Was a nice spot to stay. We enjoyed ourselves. Cozy spot. Only downfalls is no a/c and hot tub/outdoor spa is not kept up on. Other than that it was enjoyable. Owner of the property was easy to deal with and checked in to see if anything was needed.

Quick getaway!

Nice space, perfect soaking tub, two fire pits! Grill and pizza oven. We enjoyed peaceful star filled evenings. Quiet nights and baby deer running around in the mornings. Local goat sanctuary is a must for a hike with the goats. Reasonably close hikes, to waterfalls and swimming holes, check if you need a permit, the water was ice cold at first, perfect for the weather, we spent a while there, then back for some grilling!We enjoyed the stove and record collection. We were a family with a guest and this location was lovely. Clean and cozy, but with lots of space!

It certainly come again great place for anniversary

Everything they had and offered was great just a few small things. Some light switches weren’t labeled. light switches to some things that were supposed to work didn’t turn on. There was no indication of a security camera though.

Cozy Cabin with Great Host, Just a Few Tweaks Needed

We had a great stay in a cozy cabin and enjoyed excellent communication with Laura. When we had an issue with the grill’s propane tank, she sent someone up within 15 minutes, which we really appreciated.There are a few areas for improvement. Firstly, the cabin could benefit from more seating. With five adults, it was challenging for all of us to gather comfortably in one room. Additional armchairs, especially in the room with the record player, would have been appreciated. It would also help to have instructions for the hot tub; it turned off, and we weren’t sure how to restart it. The grill was very greasy, and the drip tray was full, so it needed better cleaning between guests. Additionally, no paper towels were provided, which made general cleanup particularly challenging.Despite these minor issues, the cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the availability of firewood and the simplicity of the space, which added to its charm.

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. It’s a beautiful place with some nice amenities. Very quiet. If you stay at this place here are a couple pointers: the wood burning stove has a square hearth that we all kept stubbing our toes. Just place a small item like a purse to prevent stubbing. All four of us at some time managed to stub our toes. The cedar hot tub is exactly as described: made of cedar and filled with hot water. There were no jets. The kitchen has some nice features but no microwave and no large skillet for making breakfasts like pancakes or scrambled eggs. Although it did have a small one. We ended up buying one so we could enjoy our meals. Double check the refrigerator temperature as it was set to 9 which froze our food. These are just small things that can easily be addressed and will ensure you have a nice time.

The property is beautiful. The soft snow blanketing the area only made it more so. Everything was exactly where it was said to be and our hosts were ready and willing to help at a moments notice. Couldn't ask for a better place

Great place to stay

The house was clean and fully equipped. Fr removed from the town, can be difficult if you have an electric vehicle (I drive a Tesla and closest charger was 45 away). Other than that, great place to unwind and disconnect.

Dirty Hot Tub

Usually don’t do reviews, but based on feed back from property manager wanted to ensure I left a review. The cabin itself was good. Cleanish on the inside. Fans were very dusty, but over all cleanliness of the cabin was good. We cooked and the cabin had everything we needed for cooking. The unfortunate part of our stay was the hot tub which was a main point for staying at this cabin over much cheaper options. Unfortunately the hot tub had a lot of bio film floating around and attached to the inside of the hot tub. We waited to reach out to the property manager tell after we left as we didn’t want people interrupting our stay to do cleaning that was stated to have been done prior to our stay. The conversation with the property manager was very disappointing to say the least when she stated she would have told us where the cleaning products where so we could clean it out selves. Paying over $1000 for our stay at a location that one was stated to be cleaned beyond having should be cleaned was very disappointing to be told we should have notified her while we were there so we could clean it ourselves.

Secluded location, great hot tub, dirty kitchen

Overall my friends and I had a nice time. The property was beautiful and gave us easy access to hikes like sams point. Bedrooms, bathrooms and hot tub were clean and matched the pictures in the listing, except for the windows in the 2nd bedroom didn’t open, which made it very stuffy. Also the water heater was malfunctioning and making loud hissing and beeping sounds during our stay, which I told the owner about and she said she would get it checked out. We still had hot water, so this wasn’t a big problem for our trip. The owner was easy to communicate with and helpful with trying to figure stuff out like how to use the pizza oven. Only major problem we had was that the kitchen was dirty when we arrived. The mocha pot was moldy and had old coffee in it and the grill was dirty. Cleaning the grill is part of the checkout instructions, so I guess the people before us didn’t do it. Nevertheless, I would have expected it to have been cleaned by housekeeping, instead of depending on guests to do it themselves. Other than the cleanliness issue, everything went smoothly.
