Perfect Fall get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was fully stocked with everything you need. The game room was a hit with all ages. Beds were comfortable. Can’t beat the view! We hope to stay again.

Great location

We had a wonderful time and you can’t beat the location. It could have been a bit more equipped for larger groups. The arcade game, which is pictured on VRBO, was broken and the foosball game, had no ball. The game room was the selling point for our family, so we were disappointed that things were not usable. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Well laid out floor plan. Clean and new.

We had a last minute trip to Gilchrist. Found this listing and loved the property. Great floor plan for two families. Very clean with all of the amenities. Great ocean view and the beach was steps away. Will recommend to friends.

Perfect family get away home

Our family had such an amazing time at the Sunkissed beach house. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. The beach was less than a minute walk. With 5 kids under 6, that was a blessing! The view from the ocean side balconies was incredible. LOVED that there is a fenced in backyard for the puppies to run around. We will definitely be renting from this owner again!

Beach House

The property was well maintained and is very new. The location was excellent for us and very quiet. House keeping was good as there were linens and towels available. There is also a washer dryer that was available. The only issue we had with the house was the door would not lock. Other than that, there were no issues with the house. The mosquitoes were awful but that was along the whole Island due to all the rain. So, make sure to take plenty of Off.

Perfect Except......

The first few nights were hell. Not the property or the beach but the next door neighbors. There were at least 20 staying with most of them being kids. Now don’t get me wrong, I am for family time. My wife and I have 4 teenagers who are extremely respectful, however not sure what this family’s problem was. After the second night of all night music and screaming I went over and asked if they could just turn the music down. I got a hand in my face. I asked another adult and the music stopped. A short time later while my family and I were enjoying the deck, a guy started to argue and disrespect my family trying to start a fight. It got ugly. Enough of that! Getting back to the beach and property. It was amazing. Views were everything you could imagine. The ocean on one side and ships in the channel on the other. Most amazing sunsets you can experience. Do not miss them. We drove on the beach, built a fire, watched dolphins from the shore. All amazing. There were stores close for any need that came up. The house was furnished well. Very clean. Beds comfortable. Plenty of towels. We even asked management if we could add a night which we did. Communication was no problem. I don’t have any complaints of the home but the neighbors who wanted to fight because I asked them to turn the music down after 11 pm. Completely ridiculous and immature. That definitely ruined a night that we paid good money for.

SPLASH WAS A BLAST

We had Christmas here over New Year's weekend. The little tree was a wonderful touch. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was excellently stocked! Very clean and they thought of everything. We had ages 5-52 and all enjoyed the view and balcony and beach walks. Being able to bring our dog made the experience even better. I can't wait to rent this house again!

Excellent rental & location

We rent cabins every year for a family get together and Sunkissed is now one of my favorites! The entire development is very well kept, dog friendly, easy entry, low traffic so it’s more relaxing with less people around. This is as beach front as you can get for an affordable price. I would rent this beach house again. It was great!!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at sun-kissed. The home is beautiful, and had everything we needed while we were there. Just a short walk to the beach, and wonderful views from the deck.

We had a wonderful July 4th vacation here! There was so much room for everyone and plenty or places to sleep. The kids loves having their own space upstairs. The Breakers subdivision was a perfect area for families.

Beautiful home

The house itself is very beautiful and very well maintained. The only complaint we had was it is so close to the other properties that if someone next door is loud or playing music, you will hear it inside. With that being said, that was only a problem for half our stay. Once the loud neighbors left, it was very enjoyable. Really loved the layout of the house too.

We had the most amazing time with our loved ones. The place was clean and the ocean was right there. The people was friendly and helpful. The view was awesome. We will come back to visit again. This place was the best place our family has visited so far.

Absolutely wonderful

This was a great, clean, well-stocked property. Our second row location felt like it was beachfront because of the way the homes are in that development. The two living areas allowed for the right balance of solo time and family time for our tween. The only thing missing was a colander. The beach was pristine and practically empty. This was our first time visiting the area, and we will definitely return and book this same home.

The Best Rental I've had so far. Very clean, enough space and the balcony space is an extra plus.

I love this place as well as my husband and family. Very clean and spacious. No complaints, even the neighbors were great. We will be renting again.

Perfect COVID getaway

We were looking for a COVID getaway and Crystal Beach, TX hit the spot! We thought it would be more remote than Galveston and we were correct. Take the ferry into Galveston for the day - it is fun, but we wouldn't want to stay there. Sunkissed is a new place that is very nice. Plenty of room and as advertised. Yes, it is a 2nd row house, but you have a great view of the beach and you feel as if you are on the beach. The garage area (1st floor) has a great bar and grill area. The kitchen is great with a large seating area (although the seats are not terribly comfortable!). Just remember that Highway 87 is a highway (60 mph) and you can hear road noise. A couple of nights, I couldn't sleep and kept hearing the trucks go by. Also, remember that this is a 16 unit complex. We were there during the week, but on Saturday night before we left, one house down on the end loaded up for a party. Probably 10 cars. I knew it was trouble when they started unloading Sam's Club long tables. It wasn't too bad, but I wish they were more strict about no parties. There is a grocery store in town, and a few restaurants, but not much else. If you want to get away, this is the place!

Our neighborhood, The Breakers, does have several larger houses so sometimes a party will breakout The rules are turn it down at 10 and shut it down at midnight All in all I think it’s much quieter than Crystal Beach proper. Fantastic Weekend Getaway

I booked Sunkissed as a weekend getaway for my husband and my parents. We were incredibly impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the property. The unit had everything we needed, and is in a great location in proximity to the gulf. It also has a fenced in yard and dog gate for pets. We found this property to be quite lovely and accommodating, and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!
