FAMILY BEACH FRONT with amazing ocean views and great loft

Seabatical is an amazing beach front house with spectacular ocean views! This spacious house features 4 bedrooms on the main floor and a large loft bedroom. Relax the day away on the large front covered porch; and, enjoy the sunset on the intimate back porch. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the items needed to cook and eat with a large group. And the abundant cabinet space allows space to store food and pantry items during your stay.
Right next door is our 2nd house that sleeps 10—perfect for a large gathering. Reserve both houses for the perfect retreat.
Seabatical sleeps 18 in beds. The primary bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite. The second bedroom comes with a king bed; the third bedroom has a queen bed; and, the fourth bedroom accommodates 4 with queen over queen bunk beds. The large loft has 4 twin trundle beds and a bathroom with standup shower.

DOWNSTAIRS features covered parking, an outdoor shower, and seating area to enjoy grilling, playing games on the lawn, and listening to all the ocean sounds. With the easy walk to beach in front of the house, you can get all your beach toys to the sand quickly and easily.

Family beach time

The house was perfect had everything you need and more. Beach access was great and plenty of shells. We enjoyed it so much we are thinking of coming back next year. Absolute great place.

Family Trip to Bolivar Peninsula

Our family met up with some old friends and we had the best time at our stay in Gilchrist/Bolivar Peninsula. The house was perfect and we enjoyed it so much!

Family time

We loved the property and hope to rent again next year. The door handle was tough to operate, and we were only able to connect to the wifi next door with a weak signal but other than that...beautiful! Would recommend!

Perfect Visit

We very much enjoyed not only the property but the amenities and communication. The beds were comfortable and plentiful. The kitchen was well equipped and parking was a breeze. Will definitely return for our next visit to beach.

Thanks for a great stay!

Great house; everything was clean, new, and well stocked. Spectacular views from the deck. My family had an excellent stay. This location is great for beachcombing as well. Just be sure to bring your bug spray (normal for this part of Texas). Would definitely recommend staying at Seabatical!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Location, location, location! The home is a perfect walk to the uncrowded beach! The home was well layed out, new, clean and was the perfect place for our 8 adults and 6 grandkids. Eric and Cathy are great hosts!

Birthday getaway for my daughter

What a house!!!! My daughter wanted a beach weekend for her 9th birthday. We had a wonderful time. House is amazing. The upstairs was perfect for all the kiddos. Owner were super responsive and helpful. Will definitely book again.

Amazing

We enjoyed every minute! The house was so clean and well stocked! The upstairs loft was absolutely perfect our kids they had their own tv and bathroom! Everything was perfect! We lost power the last day due to a storm rolling in , but hardly noticed because we spent most of the time at the beach! Great for large groups.

Extended family vacation

Property was very well thought out. If we needed something, it was there! Everything was fabulous inside and out. View of the ocean was spectacular. We will definitely be back. It was perfect for our family. ( we never did find a dust pan, though I’m sure there was one there but that is an easy problem to solve so we were good).

Loved our stay at Seabattical. It was comfortable for larger groups with ample space. The place has all the necessary amenities and then some. It is farther east on the peninsula making it less crowded in the summer - but also a little further away from restaurants. The only problem we had was with bad weather shutting down the ferry. Be sure to account for that possibility.
