Thanks for the 5 stars! Glad you enjoyed your stay and exploring the fun amenities of the neighborhood. Yes, it's a kitchenette (coffeemaker, small fridge, microwave), we have a full sized kitchen in the main house if you're looking for something more.Come back anytime! Thanks again for being great guests!!

Glad to hear you had a great stay even if the cottage does not have a full kitchen. Even though it's a large space for a studio, we too wish we could fit more furnishings. Anyway, happy to host you again.

Thanks for the 5-stars review, so glad you enjoyed your stay. Running the sink water helps if the hot water hasn't been used in awhile as the pipeline has to empty the existing cold water, as noted on our house manual. Once the hot water flow, it is unlimited with our on-demand hot water system. Come back anytime!!

So glad you enjoyed your stay! VRBO is reworking their website so thank you for your patience with the mixed up documents. Our pricing is based on the size of your group, which VRBO details out in the lodging quote, and we believe it is more cost effective whether you're a single traveler, a couple or a large group, and more fair to your budget. We'd love to host you again, cheers!

Thanks for staying with us. We’ve been hosting a very long time now, thought we got this down, very sad your experience was not perfect. We have had guests staying and returning all seasons—one has booked four times for about a week each time this year to visit family nearby, for a number of years now. There are two in-wall electric heaters rated to heat twice the space. The ceiling is vaulted and the bathroom skylight opens to release heat, if necessary, along with three windows 24” to 36” wide. We have Adirondack chairs available under the covered patio, maybe you didn’t venture far enough. The listing clearly states the studio has a kitchenette and no washer/dryer. And you over cleaned on washing dishes (set of six) as noted in our email summary. Yes, the front yard belongs to the main house; all other outdoor areas are common shared spaces. More importantly, we have a tankless hot water heater so it is unlimited supply, set at 105F. We encourage our guests to share any concerns during or before their stay as your comfort is everything to us (and not after departure). The 36” armoire has extra towels (4 sets total) in the drawer below, and two sets are placed in the bathroom upon arrival. It’s well furnished—we’ll DM you to know what furniture needs updating. Glad you caught the two spiders—Seattle in general does not have bugs like other parts of the country, so you can sit outside without the need to pack insect sprays, we are so very lucky!
