Villa Flora - looks as good as the pictures!

Loved the pool, the space in the house and the garden, and the spread of bedrooms. Kitchen really well equipped. Dining area outside. Lots of different areas to relax, so the house never felt crowded. 5 min drive to Meco beach, 15 to Sesimbra, 35 to Lisbon, all very manageable. Lots of great restaurants close by, and a great local cafe, and a good mini mart within walking distance. Marina, our contact, was excellent. A really lovely person and very helpful and accommodating. No air con during the day wasn’t a problem, as the house was lovely and cool, but depending on fans at night is not ideal. Beds were fine, but not very comfortable.

A peaceful home away from home

A perfect place to spend some time away from the hectic of everyday life! We spent a wonderful two weeks here with our 3 kids and enjoyed every minute of it. Only thing to look out for are the mosquitoes, which were apparently really bad this year, and as the house doesn't have nets on the windows, it's a bit of a "pain" at night. Otherwise, the house has everything one could wish for, and Marina and the owner were really proactive on all of our requests! Recommend it to anyone looking for a small bit of paradise!

Perfect getaway!

Perfect getaway! We stayed here last week. On arrival marina was there to greet us and was so friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the villa it was perfect for our family of 10. The pool is so much bigger than it looks on the pictures. We hired a car just to do big shops etc but you could easily get Ubers which we did for most of our nights out into sesimbra. The lagoon that marina had mentioned for us to go to is beautiful the water is so calm. We found loads of lovely little restaurants nearby and had some gorgeous meals out. I was a little worried about having no aircon before we arrived but we never felt to hot at night we had the fans on and there is such a lovely breeze at night we just left the shutters shut in the day to keep the sun out. A lovely time had by all. 23/08/24

The villa was spotlessly clean and exactly as described in the description. The villa looked even better in real life than in the photos and we felt right at home as a group of 10 friends. There is an incredible amount of space, several dining tables, a great and deep pool that gets sunshine all day long. The kitchen was super well equipped and the barbecue worked perfectly as well. The bathrooms were very clean and there was even an extra bathroom outside right next to the pool which is very convenient. The bedding and towels provided were spotlessly clean. The washing machine and dishwasher also worked perfectly. We had two rental cars with us and there was plenty of space to park and turn around within the property. The host Marina was super friendly, very easy to contact and gave us lots of recommendations for the surrounding area. All in all, the accommodation and the hostess extremely exceeded our expectations! We recommend the villa to all future guests! 05/09/2024

Han sido unas vacaciones estupendas. La casa, de 10. Lo mejor, la piscina, con hamacas y sombrillas más que suficientes para 10 personas. Un día se ensució por el viento y vinieron a limpiarla al poco de avisar. El interior muy cómodo. La cocina completa con múltiples electrodomésticos. Habitaciones agradables. Lo único que se le podría pedir es que los baños se pudieran cerrar por dentro, y que hubiera persianas en las habitaciones.

Alles wie beschrieben. Ohne Stau etwas weniger als eine Stunde vom Lissaboner Flughafen entfernt. Viele schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Für den nächsten grösseren Laden, musste man ca. 10 Minuten fahren. In Gehreichweite gibt es kaum etwas. Der Pool ist herrlich gross aber nicht beheizt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Platz war genügend da für 6 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder. Ein Babybett und ein Kinderhichstuhl waren vorhanden. Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit, gut erreichbar und sprach Englisch. 15/10/24

Very happy overall

A lot of room in the property, we found the stairs to be a bit dangerous especially with small children but were able to "fix" the problem by moving furniture around. Equipment and amenities are nice, swimming pool is clean and big, barbecue works great. At the time of our rental the sunshade near the pool were a little bit worn and it would be nice to see new ones, other than that we really much enjoyed the stay, as others have mentioned you do hear dogs barking at night in the distance, not really a problem for us. even sleeping with open windows.

Very nice house, very well equipped, we loved the patio and the pool, close to Praia do Meco

We stayed there with two families and three children and the house was spacious enough for all of us. You will find everything you need in the house and close by. It seems that a couple a cats are used to stay in and around the house, so they’ll try to sneak their way in in the mornings and evenings.

Passionate about landscapes, new cultures, and adventures, we started to rent our own villa in 2012 to finance family trips.

Because we didn’t find any companies that provided a complete service on the Lisbon coast, we took care of all the details for our guests to have the best satisfaction.

The idea attracted some neighbors and friends who wanted to be part of our new project.
Thus, we built our local network of hosts, maintenance, cleaning, and laundry providers.

We proudly and with great enthusiasm founded Allure Villas thanks to the owners’ involvement, our satisfied guests’ feedback, and word of mouth.

Today, we operate more than 200 units along the beautiful Portuguese shorelines. We keep selecting unique properties that cover all accommodation types.

Our villas are handpicked and negotiated based on exclusive contracts, subsequently inspected and photographed by our local teams, seeking to maintain a high standard according to our guests’ needs and expectations.

The villa is located 3.5 km away from the centre of the village.
Sesimbra is 9 km away and Alfarim is 1.9 Km away, where you can find a reasonable range of shops, bakery, butcher, bank, post office, supermarkets, and for those who like to cook their own fish/seafood, there are nearby fish markets at Sesimbra.

The region has excellent wine cellars that you can visit. Wine, cheese and the small Swiss roll (tortas) are the specialities of the region.
Sesimbra, the closest city, is famous for fish and shellfish restaurants.

For diving, Portinho de Arrábida and Sesimbra beaches have some of the most interesting diving in Portugal.
Sailing, windsurfing and canoeing can also be enjoyed nearby at Lagoa de Albufeira. Surfing is popular at Praia das Bicas.

For the golfers, there are 4 recommended championship golf courses: Quinta do Peru (20 km), Aroeira (30 km), Montado (40 km), Santo Estevão (40 km) and Tróia (40 km).

For horse riding lovers, there are a few riding schools in the region:
- Centro Hípico do Convento de São Domingos, Azeitão
- Centro Hípico Granja Paraíso, Sesimbra
- Centro Hípico Quinta do Picão, Azeitão

There is also a choice of other local activities such as wine tasting tours, boat trips, diving, fishing expeditions, kite surfing, dolphin watching, cycling trails and climbing. The region is rich in historical heritage, as there are several old churches and castles to visit.
