This was our first time on Anna Maria Island and the house was a great option. The walk to the beach was short and the house was fine overall. The owner was extremely quick to reply to any questions and the real estate office was also helpful.
My only suggestions/comments are pretty small - we rented bikes as we deemed the (adult) bikes in the garage not useable, plus we already had to rent bikes for the kids. There was no cooler or beach umbrella, so we rented the umbrella and brought a small cooler with us. The beach wagon was adequate but had no sides, so you had to carefully stack anything because otherwise it would all slide off. And (like almost every beach house everywhere, for some odd reason) there were almost no hooks or places to hang wet suits in the bathrooms - it's the most obvious needed thing! The vacuum cleaner was almost on its last legs - we used it once. The kitchen was well equipped, but the nonstick cookware needs replacing, as it's scratched/peeling. We actually bought a nonstick pan at Publix to use and just brought it home with us. It would also be nice if a few laundry pods were provided in the starter pack, along with dishwasher pods and soaps. We used the pool only once - it was pretty small and tended to be crowded.
But the house was plenty big, perhaps even bigger than we needed as a family of four. It had lots of outdoor porch space that we didn't use much, as it was really hot during our stay. Luckily the a/c worked great!
