Great spot on the lake

The location was unbeatable! Close to downtown, direct access to the lake, pool and hot tub on-site and most of Chelan’s attractions less than half-mile away. We made use of the bbq’s to cook, relaxed and watched movies at night and had a great stay.

Great for families

We have a 9 yo and a 1 yo. Stayed on the first floor. Patio and lawn great for play. Short walk away from everything. Quiet. Good price. Well appointed unit.

Family Stay

Great stay. We had four adults and a nine-year-old, we all fit fine in the space. Walking distance to downtown Chelan. The hot tub was great but the jets weren't working. The TV in the living room had horrible sound, it didn't bother me but it bothered the TV watchers. The condo had everything we needed for our week stay.

Family trip to Lake Chelan

We were disappointed with the hide a bed. The mattress was extremely thin and was stained. We chose not to use it. The bedrooms had excellent air conditioning. The air conditioning in the living and uninhabited areas was noisy and didn’t work as well. A major disappointment was that there were only 4 chairs for the table. We were planning to play games and could not accommodate our other family members who were staying in a smaller unit. The location was very convenient for lake and pool activities.

Great Property, Fantastic location, Mattresses need Replacing

Our family really enjoyed our time staying at the GrandView on the Lake. The property is within easy walking distance from downtown, restaurants, and the Riverwalk trail, which is right across the street. Highlights of this condo: - Our family agreed that of the 93 condos available, this is probably one of the three best location-wise on the property. It is doubtful that you could find a better view on the lake; the sunsets are spectacular; the condo is directly across from the main lounging area and deck; and the pool is only 2-3 units away but you can't hear noise from the pool. In addition, you have an enclosed (on three sides) patio that goes out to a well-tended lawn. - There are lots of places (drawers/cabinets) within the condo to store things. - It is modern feeling and comfortably decorated. - Beach towels are available by the pool. Other considerations: - The biggest downside for every member of my family was the mattresses on both beds. I don't know how old they are, but neither bed had any support. My spouse travels a lot and stays in dozens of hotels every year. He said it was one of the most uncomfortable mattresses he has ever slept on. When everyone in the family is waking up multiple times a night because they are so uncomfortable, it definitely affects how everyone feels the next day. - If you are going to be cooking or even eating in the kitchen you'll want to note that: knives are so dull they are actually dangerous (if you cook much you'll know what I mean); bring small spoons for kids or cereal (there was only one small spoon, the rest of the spoons are almost the size of serving spoons); and there is only one tiny cutting board there. - The leather on the couches (in particular the loveseat) is cracking. It is somewhat uncomfortable to sit on and a little visually out of step with the rest of the furnishings in the living room and kitchen which have been well-maintained. In summary, we would not hesitate returning to the Grandview on the Lake. And if the owners replace the mattresses we would happily return to this condo .
