この施設について

Henry's Houseの熱帯地方への脱出有名な建築家Eric Moserによってデザインされた家の宝石です。インテリアはHGTVインサイダーによるものです。天井が高く、大きな窓があり、屋外にはたくさんのリビングスペースがあります。階下に直接開くマスターベッドルームと自然光で洗われる2階のベッドルームがあります。外には、ダイニングテーブルとシャワー付きのラップアラウンドデッキがあります。もちろんWiFiがあり、日陰のある柵付庭があるので、子犬を連れて行ってください。
イーストエンドとメインの公共ビーチ、ゴルフコース、Audubon Bird Sanctuary、DIの町の中心部へは、自転車でも車でも短い距離です。家には3台の自転車が付いているので、地元の人のように島を一周できます。
P. S. Henry's Houseは、何年もの間ドーフィン島で常連となってきたアマゾンのオウム、Henryにちなんで名付けられました。

Great quiet place!

Wonderful place to stay, quiet neighborhood with everything you need there at the home. Bikes, board games, privacy, the only knock, which it wasnt bad is the neighbors dogs run up to the fence and scare the mess out of you every now and then, but its just dogs being dogs. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend this home.

So relaxing!

We loved our stay in this adorable lil ol beach shack! We enjoyed the bikes and loved the porch! We sat on the porch to enjoy our coffee, happy hour cocktails and night caps. :) the location is close to everything and also quiet and relaxing. The yard was beautiful!

Wonderful house

We had a wonderful time at Henry’s house. Everything was as stated. Highly recommended. Would rent it again, when coming back to the island.

Nice stay

Cute house as described. Fenced yard was larger than expected. Lots of plants! Quiet neighborhood with the exception of a few loud dogs now and then. One of the better rentals we’ve stayed in.

Beautiful House in a Relaxing Location

First time staying in a house on DI. Fantastic house with beautiful landscaping and interior design. Very functional for our family of 3 on a quiet street with easy access to the entire island. Well appointed with all the necessities, a grill, coffee maker, and plenty of towels. The deck and outside area is great and the bikes are a great addition. Nice and relaxing trip at a very affordable price for a holiday week! Glad we found this property and hope to stay again!

Excellent peaceful getaway in a really cute little house

The house was just perfect for the two of us and our dog. The house is located in the middle of a tree lined residential neighborhood It is quiet and convenient to beaches, stores restaurants etc, Everything in the house was great and the bikes were used to explore the island. East beach and Middle beach are a short drive or bike ride away. After staying there. Any help we need with appliances or information, the owners were quick to respond. we booked in again for next year before we even left.

Loved Henry’s House

What a great place for a get away! The house was so clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. The bicycles were definitely a plus. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and a few restaurants were open. We highly recommend The Islander. We visited Dauphin Island Baptist Church and met some really nice folks. We had a great time in this lovely house!

Quiet and clean

We loved staying at Henry’s House and would stay again! I loved the natural yard - it was so beautiful. I ate breakfast on the deck every morning. Great decor!! We truly enjoyed use of the bikes! My only suggestions are to put a TV in the living room and add another security/flood light for the backyard. Easy access to all Dauphin Island attractions. If you want to relax, stay at Henry’s House!!!

Beach trip.

The rental/house was beautiful. We enjoyed the screened-in back patio and spacious yard for our pets. It was dog friendly. It was easy to get in/out of house using a pass code. It rained 4 out of 5 days. We enjoyed our stay.

Dauphin Island getaway

House was the prettiest looking in the street. Would have liked a TV in the front room. Had to drive to the park to take our dog out for walks. Beach was lovely and was close by car. Fort Gaines is worth a visit. Fresh fish from Skinners Seafood was excellent. Had a good couple of days here.

Quiet Neighborhood on East End

We enjoyed our stay on Dauphin Island, as always. This neighborhood is quiet, close to several restaurants, & the homeowner provides bikes so it’s perfect for our family.

Wonderful getaway

We loved the house. Owner was great. Just like pictures. Well stocked with towels and kitchen utensils etc. Was a pleasure to cook there. Definitely a drive to the beach if have kiddos (mine are 5 and 7) We tried out all the beaches....loved west the best. Went ghost crabbing one night, to the aquarium and on a boat tour (Duke at the Dauphin Marina...highly recommend...pretty ride and just as kids were getting over it. they pull in the net and so many fish, shrimp, crabs, and jelly fish to play with) Swing on the porch was a fave. The weather did not like us but we made the best of it. A bit of a conservative area and monotone but we didn't have any incidents. Great house! Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous house, yard, and location, especially for birders and people traveling with dogs.

We are avid birders who always travel with our dog. We were thrilled to find such a lovely house with a completely secure, fenced-in yard that was super close to most of Dauphin's best birding hot spots. On our first morning there we saw Scarlet Tanagers, an Orchard Oriole, and several types of warblers, even without leaving the property The neighborhood is heavily wooded and very private. The owners did a fantastic job landscaping the backyard, and we enjoyed being amongst many gorgeous, tall trees.

Perfect Island Getaway

My husband and I and our 3 small children spent a week at Henry's House. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened porch, back yard and use of the bikes. My son and I biked to the Lighthouse bakery , the bird sanctuary and around town. We loved that the home was located on a quiet street with no traffic but still close to the beaches. We had a fantastic trip and will definitely be back next year.

I'm a native of Mobile and have lived all over the place, but my latest residence is Atlanta.

I've been coming to the island since the 1970s, so having my own house there was a must. We're on the East End, because that's where the locals live, and it's the only part of the island that can withstand a hurricane. Plus, we like trees. Dauphin Island has one of the last stretches of unspoiled marine forest and seashore left on the northern Gulf Coast. Most of the world doesn't know about it, and we want to keep it that way.

Dauphin Island is great because it's not Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. There are more birds and turtles than tourists. If you can't live without a theme park, wall-to-wall shopping and the energy of a big crowd, go somewhere else. DI is about nature. Solitude. Peace.
